impeller overheats and moves inner shell casing
dislike impeller and shell casing does not stay in place . this china part doesnt work on 5.0L V8OMC outdrive, 1989. do you know a better pump option.

Ordered this for an older OMC Cobra outdrive that had sat for 7 years. Perfectly matched the impeller that was in there and included all of the housing parts, not just the rubber impeller (which I imagine would be near impossible to get out of the housing once its in anyway). Thanks!

Found to be defective
Fitted and boat had overheating problems, after tearing down again found the cage had spun inside the housing restricting water flow and chewed up the impeller. Was fairly cheap and now I know why, spend a bit more money and get a good quality kit and less of the headaches!
