Good looking. After a couple of years they might get a little stained, so I occasionally buy more because I like their looks so much.

I always thought coasters were like cork, where drinks just sat in a pool of water, to keep the water from the furniture. Lo and behold, I learned differently when I bought these. I was looking for something pretty but more absorbent if possible. I saw these and ordered the sand dollar style. So pretty. And that's just the beginning. I have never, and I mean absolutely never, have seen a drop of water under a glass while on these coasters. They literally absorb and I guess somehow dissipate the moisture from drinks. I live in Florida, and it is very humid here, so drinks 'sweat'. Glasses will have water dripping down the sides and pooling on the bottom. But not on these coasters. I don't know what the material is, but it truly works. I'll never buy cork coasters ever again. These are classy looking, and they do have cork - but only on the bottom to prevent scrapes on furniture. Whoever designed these is a genius. As I recall, it is also a small company, so made in America. I believe in supporting small businesses, especially when they create or provide a worthwhile quality product. This is top quality, and I guarantee you will never see a drop of water on these coasters. They are the real deal. I don't even recall what I paid for them, but whatever I paid, it was worth every penny.

Definitely protects furniture. Stains come off with soap and water. Nice design.

The coasters are super absorbent and dry quickly. We love the design and bought an extra set in case we ever need them, however they appear to last a lifetime if not dropped or crushed
