These are a welcome addition if you are not cooking on an open flame. If you do decide to use on a grill or campfire... just remove these. They fit snugly... but are easily removed and re-applied.Even on a gas range/cooktop they get uncomfortably warm.... but they are a world better than the bare aluminum handle. And... They look great.... that's got to be worth something. ♥

I was a little hesitant to order these. My son and I both have a can cooker which we love, so I thought I would order one for him and see what they were like. We were both very pleased and impressed about how tightly they fit and how well they were constructed. I immediately ordered myself a set and recently purchased the larger can cooker and will be ordering a set for that one as well. If you have a can cooker ( if you don’t you will be amazed at how fast the food cooks and how tasty it is) these handles are a must!

It keeps the handles from burning your hands and secures well after just slipping on. Does a good job holding up to heat and preventing the latches from dinging up the lid.

Works great but wish they had the same product for the latches.Hint hint

My husband had one and a friend confiscated it so we had to get another. Nice non stick interior. Now we improved with the handel's and it is even better! Will not use without the handel's now! My husband loves it!

My husband absolutely loves his can cooker, but when I got these for him....now he loves it even more! Pot gets pretty darn hot,, so these handles help soooo much.
