It’s a really good product for its price!
I installed this in my 1970 mustang for a C4. I made a custom frame and fits nice and looks really nice. I didn’t like that a relay wasn’t included, but I bought one at the local auto parts store.

Good value and good construction
My cooler was a Hayden heavy duty cooler rated for way more than necessary for my vehicle application, but it works perfectly. This cooler has capacity enough to bypass the factory cooler in the coolant radiator. I bought a thermostat kit to add to this package for less than $30, but this cooler has been so effective that the fan hasn't had to kick in at the 180 degree thermostat setting.I have an MSD sensor monitor that plugs into the OBDII outlet so I can monitor various functions. The highest this cooler has allowed the trans temp to get is 178 degrees with me trying to get the thermostat to kick in. Perhaps when I tow my small utility trailer, I will be able to get the temp higher. I did check the thermostat switch and fan, and they do work just fine.I bypassed the factory in-radiator cooler because the engine runs at about 207-210. This doesn't help the trans when outside temps and hard use come into play. I don't live in a cold northern location, so I'm not concerned about winter temps hurting trans oil flow or effectiveness. This cooler and fan are quality items. The fan didn't come with any instructions, but it's a simple thing to mount and wire. Just make sure the two wires are hooked up to either pull or push air in the direction you need for your fan location.
