I picked up these lures for blue fish. I surf fish regularly on the Delaware beach. I threw on one of these bad boys and the blue fish just started thrashing it. I cast it at a 45 degree angle and would reel it in against the surf giving it 2 quick jerks and a short reel. The blues were pounding it so fast I could hardly wet the line before I had a fish on. These are a must have if you’re fishing in the surf.

Excellent quality jigs! Strong hooks and effective visuals. I'm shore fishing with these jigs and at first I thought the hooks may have been a bit small. After hooking up bluefish after bluefish on my first hour fishing with these, I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of construction! Was able to horse and swing 5 pound cocktails around and onto the jetty I was fishing. I was even able to land a 6 lb bonito on the same jig without the hooks even showing signs of wear!

One of jigs has plain white on one side, the other side has reflector or shiny coatings. Jigs is heavy than I expected. I will try this and let see what happen. This is my first time using this kind of lures. I sent an email to the seller about this paint issue, if they cannot send me a jig with only the yellow / gold coatings I will return the whole thing.I am changing my ratings from 2 stars to 5 stars. I just received the replacement today. And I am very pleased about it. Thank you so much. The size and weight of the replacement is that I am wanting.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Very eye-catching jigs, the only problem is the yellow jig came with one side colord the other one just plain white. I wonder how well is going to last in saltwater . I cannot contact the seller directly so they can send me the yellow jig, instead I have to return all through Amazon and then they will send me another set back. My fishing trip is in one week and I doubt I can get new ones in that short of a time, so I guess I will just have to keep them as is.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I would have given this product a pass with 5 stars if I actually got the 1oz kit that I ordered. The casting jigs weighed less than 1 oz/28 grams.The gold casting jig came unpainted on one side. They're still great looking jigs and with great finish but the jigs not being 1oz is a deal breaker for me.

I was dubious that any lures so inexpensive would work as good as 'name brand' but these do. The feather on the treble won't hold up but who care at this price? The finish on the metal is exquisite.

Hooks are weak, change them out and you have a great lure.
