This keratin treatment works really well, I used the same box for the second time, and have long hair. I would say the treatment last for about 3 months. Ive have had keratin saloon treatment twice and lasted over 6 months but feel that it was very toxic for my hair since I lost a ton of hair. Don't be afraid to use this treatment! The instructions are super easy to follow. It takes about 2-2.5h, and in the end it saves some $ in your wallet and I'm confident when I say that the results are the same as saloon quality.

I have very fine, frizzy hair that doesn’t do much in the southern heat and humidity. I wish I could afford/had more time for salon treatments, but I don’t. They can run several hundred dollars by the time I add tip due to the length of my hair.I’ve tried two different at home treatments before this one. They were okay, they smoothed my hair a bit but didn’t really help with the strange waves and cowlicks my hair likes to develop. My hair is now very smooth and straight even after several washed (I use the maintenance shampoo and conditioner from this line) and to style it I just need a quick blow dry.It was a very easy process, though a bit time consuming. Bot difficult or messy. There is a bit of a smell when I wash my hair but it’s still better than the weird, puffy, frizzy mess my natural hair is.

It works great and it lasts for months!

I have extremely curly fine hair and trying to find a straightening product that won't damage my hair while loosening its curl can be very difficult. I came across this product while researching keratin straightening treatments that won't break the bank and came across this one and I am truly impressed. I have gotten the same results at a salon where iv'e paid $130 dollars. I am amazed! It is so exciting to get the results at a fraction of the price and time. I also bought the AlfaParf Lisse Design Keratin Therapy shampoo and conditioner set to maintain the results of this treatment and it has worked wonders keeping the result from fading away. This product worked to well that my fiance noticed the difference. If you are looking for bone straight hair this may not be the product for you, because it only loosened my biracial curly hair into more of a body wave. Although my hair isn't perfectly straight, it now only takes 30 minutes to dry and straighten my hair whereas before it took me 2+ hours. I have not noticed any hair loss nor breakage. To keep my hair straight I use this shampoo and conditioner in conjunction with Chi Straight Guard and John Frieda's 3-Day Straight spray. Also, another plus the application did not burn my scalp nor did it make it tingle. The smell was not overwhelming at all. I would highly recommend this product and will buy again and again.The reason why I give this review 4 stars is because the box does not come with the rest of the tools necessary to complete the straightening process. By this, I mean the plastic gloves to protect your hands during the application process and the plastic camp needed to place over the hair while it is drying.

I have always had too much hair that frizzes no matter what I have a frizz halo. No product can keep it from happening and my hair is always tangling when I sleep etc. My hair is too heavy and can’t turn into real curls and a lot of work to blow dry and flat iron so I’ve mostly lived in hair up hair styles or had to braid for heat less curls. This as of day 2 actually works. My hair feels soft and healthy and isn’t puffy. I have to only do a 5 sec flat iron or minor product for very few flyaways which is probably my error not flat ironing enough or no heat when product on. But for the easy version it’s perfect.

So I have twice done an in salon keratin . 200 first time 250 second . I loved the anti frizz hated the price . I was looking for a shampoo & conditioner to use after treatment & seen this brand carried them bought them & on a whim decided to purchase the smoothing treatment . I used it aftermy in salon keratin was gone . Super easy application . I used half of product my hair is shoulder length . Amazing results still after two weeks I do use the shampoo & conditioner by same company . This product very reasonable & I can totally do myself & save $$$. I didn’t notice any color pull but to be safe I did this a week before I was due for a touch up . Ordered another kit to have on hand .Update 6 weeks later seem to be time to redo treatment . I have been using recommended shampoo & conditioner . This second time I did one week after having roots done & it did pull some color out , next time will do a week before roots .

I was extremely excited to try this keratin treatment, especially because it was double the price of similar brands I had purchased on Amazon for $24 to $29; this one was over $60.Starting with the positives, it doesn't leave your hair smelling like spoiled eggs, and during the processing, you don’t have to open every window to avoid the overwhelming smell from the product when you use the flat iron. The final results are clean and soft.On the downside, the directions are printed on the inside of the box, which means you have to cut it open. If you have any remaining product, you can't store it in the container, it would be more convenient to have the instructions easily accessible. In my opinion, while the item is good, it is a bit overpriced, and they need to find a better way to present the directions and instructions.
