Bought this for my 82-year-old father who had just come out of hospital. My dad has diabetes so it's important for him to be able to put his feet up from time to time and this chair is just perfect. Honestly, it's like a little helper in the house! He presses one button to have his feet gently raised as he settles into a comfy position, and when he needs to get up to use the loo or go to the kitchen he simply presses the button and the footrest lowers out of the way as he gets up off the chair. Previously, I could never get him to use the footstool because of the bother it gave him of pushing it out of the way when he got up or dragging it back into position when he sat down, but those days are gone! This chair is incredible and does everything safely for him. The footlift part raises to his comfort level while he relaxes and then disappears out of the way when he gets up. I never have to worry about him using this chair and love coming into his living room to see him slightly reclined with his feet up watching snooker!The chair is advertised as beige, but it's not particularly beige in my opinion. It's more cream-coloured, but that is perfect for us and is actually what my dad was looking for, to be honest. It's a nice looking chair, soft, comfortable, neat, compact and very modern looking.The delivery was great. We were given a text/call 30 minutes before the delivery and were given a number to call or text back if we needed to change anything. The man delivering was happy to bring the box around the back of the house so that we could get it into the living room with ease. I was able to put the chair together myself very quickly, which surprised me as I thought I might have to wait for my husband to help. It wasn't complicated at all and the electrics of the chair are all very neatly hidden away and simple to connect.I actually can't fault this chair at all. It's everything I wanted. The electric reclining is uncomplicated to use with simple straightforward buttons. As mentioned, I am particularly impressed by the wonderfully magical footrest that appears and disappears when needed.The chair can also help someone exit the seat by raising them to a standing position. Dad has tried that and it works very well. Thankfully he doesn't need that yet and can get in and out of the chair comfortably without using it but it's helpful to know that we have this on hand if we need it.In conclusion, a beautifully crafted chair that is simple to use and attractive to look at. It's modern, tastefully designed, neat and compact. I'd recommend this to anyone!!

Brought this chair for my mother who recently came out of hospital (92) it was easy to put together. And fast delivery. She loves this chair. She found it easy to operate and finds it very comfortable. So I would recommend to anyone.

This chair is quite stylish, easy to put together, and a great help to my disabled husband, who was having difficulty getting off his previous lower chair.

The chair is good and comfortable easy too assemble but it does have a manufacturing fault on the arms At the back where the seams join they fray because there is a Wooden joint that has been left rough edged .

Ideal if you have mobility problems, or even if you don't & just fancy laying back whilst watching TV! A nice, firm, comfortable seat that lets you recline and/or helps you get back up on your feet if you find getting out of a chair difficult. Very good price & it has a nice sized seat even if you have a big bum, like mine!

Been using it for a few months now. Comfortable, nice material, smooth operation & seems to be well made. I would have given it 5* but the slide for one of the wings had been put on upside down and took a screwdriver to quickly flip it around for one of the back side wings to slide into place (they look pretty symmetrical so an easy mistake so I'm still happy to give them 4* overall)
