Very good Lock easy to use powerful protection!

We use this lock with a chain to lock our bikes to the car. The shackle is just the right size to slip through the 9mm chain links. The shackle is wide enough to fit around the bar on our car, or it can hook to the trailer hitch. It is easy to lock and unlock. I wish that it has more than two keys as I have seen similar locks with 3 or 4 keys. The lock seems to be quite sturdy. Hopefully it will never be cut, but only time will tell.

I tried to saw through mine and nothing is getting through. It just ripped the outer layer but it’s not touching the metal. It is a little heavy when I carry in my back pack but I love the security and lock functionality. It makes me feel my bike isn’t going anywhere. I also noticed it’s sun resistant because it didn’t burn my hands when in direct sunlight. It’s warm but not hot to touch.

Seems like a great lock, tough, heavy and solid. I would have given it 5 stars except a few minor things. 1.) my fault wished it was a little wider and longer. I should’ve looked better at the dimensions. The next two are the reasons I gave 4 star 2.) the bracket is to small and doesn’t fit on the bar from seat to crank (where I usually install them. 3.) the bracket and how it actually holds the lock is off center SO if you install it on the seat post which they recommend in the directions, it will cause your legs/upper thighs to SLIGHTLY hit/rub it as you pedal, ESPECIALLY and More so when you attach the cable to the lock. There’s no sleek way for the lock to also hold the cable. The lock and cable do seem tough, solid and heavy but just a few minor things from giving it 5 stars but still a great product and worth the money. I would still recommend it even though the few things I mentioned.

I gave the lock its first test today by leaving it locked where my other bike had been stolen from, the local Walmart. I came out and it was still there, so I suppose it passed the first test as a lock. I'm satisfied it is a good product.

This is a really secure and well made bike lock. It's probably too much lock for my bike but I wanted to be sure it wasn't stolen. This lock does the trick. It's very heavy and well-crafted. I would recommend it.

this lock was exactly what I needed to secure my bike when I go to the grocery store, stop for lunch on ride, etc. it may not be sufficient for locking a bike every day, all day in the same location. the metal is vinyl coated, so it looks and feels good. Of course, you then can't see if there are any weaknesses in the material, but neither can a would-be thief. the key mechanism works very smoothly, the mounting bracket is well-designed, and it comes with 3 keys (so you can lose two before you panic). it has a covered cable lock too. the only negative is that the "U" is rather short, meaning that can't lock the frame and back tire together to a rack unless you use the cable. Overall, outstanding for the price.

The lock itself takes a great beating and stays strong and functional. The cable however is easily snipped by wire cutters and doesn't offer any real protection against prepared bike thieves. ask me how I know.

Didn't stop my bike from being stolen. Looks like it's pretty easy to bypass this lock.

Very strong lock, much thicker than some others available and I daresay impossible to cut through. The lock isn't quite big enough to fit around the front wheel and frame, so I use the included cable for the front wheel which is a bit awkward to carry around and not quite long enough to reach the back wheel too. Minor niggles aside its a good quality lock that does what it says.

I love how small it is yet feels strong and heavy duty. I've only used it a few times but so far have been pleased with the quality.
