I was always lazy when it came to replacing my laptop battery until I said y'know what let me finally get around to it. The battery is great and holds an awesome charge.

Battery worked great for about 6 weeks. Then all the sudden it just stopped working all together. I tried reinstalling it and checked for all the software updates. It's definitely the battery because the old battery still works, it just won't hold a charge for long. Don't waste your money.

So far, this is working well for my Dell G3 3590. It felt like a risk buying it with few reviews and it being an unfamiliar brand name, but it seems legit. I am still in the process of cycling the battery as recommended for its optimal functionality but it seems to last hours. It was easy to install with a single mini phillips-head screwdriver, and I have no experience doing anything like that with my laptop before.

I received my replacement battery in a timely manner taking advantage of my Prime Shipping. Packaging was generic, but very well protected.Thankfully, I had done my research ahead of ordering. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known that DELL installed two different sized batteries when manufacturing my specific G5 model. *I strongly recommend removing your laptop cover prior to placing an order and determining which battery you have!I only hit one snag during installation (which was NOT the new battery's fault). I put the new one in, reconnected the cable, and screwed the cover back on. Hit the power button and got nothing...I didn't do my research well enough.Took everything back apart, did a hard reset by holding the power button down for 30 seconds...put everything back together...it worked like a charm!The battery was charged at about 50% out of the box, so I plugged it in and left it until it reached 100%My maiden voyage with the new battery seemed a little "short" on life. But, that may have been due to the number of programs I had running. Since then, I have had much better luck. I have gotten close to a full day's use out of one charge while working on office suite documents, while surfing the Internet, and exchanging emails.I am quite pleased with this product thus far. It has given me confidence again to carry around my laptop without feeling the need to lug that "boat anchor" of a power brick alongside!Now, it is just of matter of seeing if it remains trustworthy for a month? Hopefully, a year? Or maybe even two?

The battery fits and works in my Dell Latitude 3160 laptop and gives just about the same power length as the original battery. Since I don't know how long the battery will remain this way, I conditionally deducted one star off my rating and will upgrade or downgrade this after a couple of months of use.

The battery fit, looked the same as my Dell. My computer gave me a warning me this battery would not work, cause possible harm and would not charge
