Who Was Robert E. Lee?

Very good book and I enjoy reading it.

A few corrections to the content but overall, great information and illustrations.

My son really enjoyed reading it and so far we get 70 who was and who is books

This series is fabulous! These are short, fun, quick reads filled with TONS of information. Although geared toward the 3rd-6th grade student, I have read these aloud to my younger children, pausing now and again to answer questions & find that they too enjoy these books. Great for independent reading, history assignments, or research papers. Would highly recommend these books.

I really enjoy these who was books and that they are written for my son's reading level. I prefer the content of some other books over these, but these are perfect for your middle grade reader! I always learn something new from these, too! I will buy again!

Who Was ..... series are all high interest reads for our students. They are great for third and fourth graders. The text is written large and there are illustrations that interest the chidren even though they are black and white. I have over 75 in our school library and the students will read them even if they do not know the famous person.

The best thing I enjoyed about this book was that I was able to understand his biography very well and how he was a Confederate soldier during the Civil War. I really do not have a least favorite thing according to this book.

I order a lot of this series for the children of a friend who doesn't have amazon. The children really enjoy these. They are good for kids who like history.

この『Who Was Robert E. Lee?』はリー将軍が家族を大事にし、戦争にはイヤイヤながら……という側面のみが基本的に暗い感じに語られていく体で、ある意味反戦論者が書いたらこうなるかな、という感じの内容でした。正直南北戦争におけるリー将軍の強さに興味のある人には全くオススメしませんが、反戦調で暗い感じのリー将軍伝というのに魅力を感じるのならば悪くはないでしょう。
