Using this under a chair mat on a hardwood floor. The chair is an office chair with wheels and would leave fine marks on the floor so I placed a chair mat underneath. The mat is always shifting so you have to readjust it every few days.I wanted something that will not leave a sticky residue. Trimmed it to fit the mat layout, easily cuts with scissors.The pad is light, and feels like neoprene/rubber foam, same or similar material as kitchen drawer liners.You could use those but the pad has little rubber nodules with more space between each which helps with grip. Drawer liners are more tightly woven. The pad is also one big piece, where you would have to deal with multiple pieces of drawer liners to get the same coverage.Since the pad provides a cushioning effect, the chair does not roll as easily, minor resistance and a non-issue. After a while you barely notice it.The chair mat still shifts. I would say it's a 90% reduction in the amount of shift and how often it shifts. Overall, works well.

I needed a floor mat for my 7 foot round rug, and I had to decide between 6ft or 8 ft, the only options availabe. I made the right choice with this company and the size. The floor mat came folded and it was easy to put on top of my rug. I trimmed around the edges and I now have a perfect fit. The rug does not slip. There was no odor with the mat and the company is extremely responsive. I have not needed any help from them, but they make it very easy to contact them.

I tried the rug tape and NOPE! It was too sticky and ruined the backs of my rugs that a sweet 80 year old man had made in the blue ridge mountains. So I ordered this instead and it really works. We have two dogs and they don't move it, unless the littler one just paws it up and intentionally turns it over...but that's operator error :) Easy to cut and works and is cheap A++

Holds rug in place.

Purchased for beneath an indoor doormat without any grip on our tile floors. Although there is some improvement in the mat staying in place it is marginal at best.

I have hardwood floors and I have had problems with my recliner slipping all the time. I have tried nIumerous products and this product is the only one that works. It shows on the floor under the recliner but at this point that is a minor thing to me. I have them under throw rugs and they do not move!

Nice feel and easy to cut and shape for a perfect fit. I use for small throw rugs on my tlle bathroom floor and am totally happy with the results.I tried to use on another carpeted bathroom floor, but it doesn't work on this surface. Not the product's fault because the carpet doesn't hold to the product.So, it's great on tile. The product description specifically says for hard surfaces so it it is a totally accurate description.

Habe diese Antirutsch-Matte schon mehrfach für verschiedene Teppiche/ Teppichgrößen (nach-)gekauft. Die Teppiche liegen damit wirklich "bombenfest" auf glatten Untergründen (Fliesen, Laminat, Vinyl, Parkett). Auf dem (glatten) Untergrund entsteht kein Abdruck, man alles rückstandslos entfernen und den Teppich an eine andere Stelle legen, wenn man möchte. Die Größe der Antirutschmatte lässt sich bei Bedarf ganz einfach mit einer Haushaltsschere anpassen. Definitive Kaufempfehlung!
