Once I'd got the hang of it, I was rattling holes off every few seconds into my precut pieces. I can't imagine using one of the cheap plastic ones or one with a separate clamp. For my camper conversion, this was a godsend as I could do it all in situ. Just make sure you have the two pieces you're joining clamped together (with another clamp) firmly and in perfect alignment when you screw them together, or glue first. Great bit of kit. All the parts feel well made. Recommended.

Disappointing jig. The holes in the jig are poorly aligned, the supplied drill bit would not even fit down the holes. I was able to shave off some material to allow the bit to fit, and even then, I had a huge amount of metal being sheared off when using it. Thankfully I ran a few test pieces through, and was able to clean it up. This has allowed it to function. The supplied screwbit is also of poor quality.For the money it is poor quality, and I would not recommend. The Kreg would be a better purchase.

first time I have used one of these pocket hole jigs and found it very easy to use, although no instructions were included it was very self explanatory and the screws were the perfect size.

Easy to use, but not precise. The screwdriver bit is slightly off. About 3mm off centre, i.e. bent.
