This book is excellent for any leader of any ministry. It really focuses on the meaning of ministry and how to put your best effort forward to making meaningful impacts on people.

I recommend this book to anyone who is new to children's ministry or looking for some inspiration. It will put the desire back in your heart to lead the children into the world of tomorrow.

I bought this book when I was newly appointed to direct our children's ministry and didn't know what I was doing. The book gave me so many ideas about what children's ministry can and ought to look like!

I bought this book used, and it came in the condition it was labeled as. It is a good book for anyone involved in Children's Ministry or any church ministry with a (or looking to have a) children's program.

Sue is admirably passionate. This makes the book very motivational. She gives great advice for children's ministry in a certain cultura context. She also offers excellent tips that will benefit any children's ministry worker in her cultural context. I very much appreciate these things.However, it is cringeworthy the way she uses Scripture. Nearly every citation was misused and out of context. I suppose this is pretty normal for popular Christain advice books.For the practical advice, the book is definitely worth the read. Her enthusiasm and motivation should be modeled. Her proof texting method avoided.

This book was instrumental in changing our Sunday School program. It offered step by step guidance to build a program with a solid foundation. As an elementary teacher and Sunday School teacher of over 20 years, I found this book well worth the read (and reread).
