Deploy in the advance of a flood of water event. Directions for use. 1.Unwrap and plan for inflation and deployment. You will need a water source and a container. Large Tote, Bathtub, Freshwater lake or stream. Only deploy activated by fresh water. Will work against salt water when activated by fresh water first. 2.Approx. 12 inches x 20 inches. Each bag will be heavy. Depending on local conditions 3-5 min for full activation. 45-50 pounds. 3.Arrange in any number of ways. Stack like traditional sandbags, link together with Velcro attachments. If desired, use with a tarp for additional water control. 4.Bag will stay inflated for months if kept out of the sun (depending on how dry the climate is locally) and refreshed with a hose periodically as needed. Bags will weep a small bit of water at first if left in a dry environment once activated. 5.To dispose, either cut bag open with a knife and let non-toxic gel dry in the sun, or mix into soil for water retention and decomposition. Or put into trash. Bags are a one-time use product. (we have a test bag going strong with no reduction in size for a year now here in the Pacific Northwest) 6+ year shelf life.
