Heiden Premier Cherrywood Watch Box for 20 watches (Great for Extra Large Watches)

Although this chest is made in china, it seems very high quality right out of the box. Funny thing to me was how many boxes this item comes in. My count was 3, boxed up too many times. Inside all those boxes it's also inside a black cloth bag as well.The lower drawer is a little bit loose, I guess it's made to be that way to allow it to move freely when lots of watches are loaded in it. The finish is amazing, hardly even a flaw. This is a really nice addition on top of my dresser, handles all my watches, makes the top section visible. I don't regret buying at all. If I had more watches I'd consider another one, easy.

I ordered this product because I know Heiden makes quality products (watchwinders, cases, etc), and their cases are among the best. The title of this listing states, "Watch Box for 20 watches (Great for Extra Large Watches)".When the product arrived, I was a little hesitant to get excited, (not because the box wasn't pretty, it really is stunningly beautiful), but because it is small for a 20-watch box. The finish on the cherry wood is like a highly polished piano finish and exudes elegance, beauty, and craftsmanship. It is very well made: hinges, glass, joints, latch, alignment of the lid to the storage box, drawer fit and drawer pull, bottom felt, etc. all impressive.I personally own a collection of Invicta men's watches, many of which were purchased here on Amazon. These are pretty large watches and typically range from 1.8 and 2.2 inches wide for the watch case. Not the largest in the industry but none-the-less pretty large compared to most men's watches. Also, when you factor in the case height with a metal bracelet watch band (as opposed to a leather band), they sit up between 1.7 and 2.25 inches tall. I think it is misleading for a Seller to state right in the title that this case is "great for extra large watches" because my watches will not fit in this box without jamming them in there right up against each other. And if you try to put a watch in the far left or far right pocket, the crown gets in the way of the lid closing (depending which way the watch is oriented). In addition, none of my watches fit in the bottom drawer section because you can't get the drawer closed due to the limited height clearance. I felt a little stupid for ordering this product.. however, the description really should say something like, "Perfect for watches in the small to medium range, and will also accommodate some moderately large watches, but not suitable for the large Invicta style watches and similar products. Well, being that the title said what it does about being great for XL watches, I pulled the trigger and bought this. The next day I sent it back because it is definitely not for XL watches. Thanks to Amazon who makes on-line buying very pleasant without actually seeing the product physically.

This box is absolutely beautiful! Well made and durable. Has plenty of room. Definitely will buy again as a gift!
