Fiber Content is 90% nylon (polyamide) and 10% metallic - the nylon butterflies are so very soft to the touch. Note picture number 3 with the dime - that will show you that these butterfly flags are bigger than most - this is a really unique yarn! A gorgeous metallic eyelash and big fat butterfly yarn - Chanel is simply lovely on its own for shawls and scarves -- and it would make a super carry-along! You change the effect of this yarn when you use a needle large or small. Use a larger needle (US 13) for a lacey look in shawls.
