Slice it thin. Slice it now. Slice it FAST. Wish I had one in the '60's Got the idea from Rachel Ray. I make enough stuff that super thin garlic is really cool, not impossible, BUT kind of time consuming-for me anyway. I just putter around the kitchen, NOT a cook. Anyhoo, this thing is a Blast! Im not joking. Man I want to slice up Everything, and ALL the garlic I can find. My Wonderful Wife says" this is good- are you using More Garlic now?" It's tough. I kind of have to. It's fun ! I did my homework-as best I can- and believe Full Stainless (a must) ease of cleaning, and super price, made this choice well worth it. I put a nail to hang it on, it's really cool. If you've never used one, keep a camera around for the first few cloves you/and/or friends slice.

I bought this for my MIL. She wanted it after seeing Rachel Ray use it on garlic. It took a little time to get to me, but she's very happy with it. She said it works perfectly in delicately slicing fresh garlic cloves. It doesn't do so well on the jarred kind because they get soft. She loves it and that's all that matters, right?

Excellent quality. The blade flops around and is not sharp at all. I tightened the screw to max couldn't cut anything because of flop. Took nearly 11/2 months to get product. Too late to return.

This was very hard to find. It is stainless steel and very sharp. I bought it to slice garlic really thin to use in a lot of my recipes.You can adjust the thickness so you can slice chocolate and many vegetables. It is small so takes up no space. Only thing it is an itemYou h have to pay shipping on. I use it almost every day.

I can't shave any chocolate with it! A potato pealer works better than this! I wasted my money. Yes, it's sturdy, but the chocolate crumbles when one tries to shave. It has to be the design. I find it useless.

I saw it on Rachael Ray show and used it to slice garlic. It works great and you can really slice it thin. Don't buy truffles, but I think I'll find other uses for it. Green onions?

Very useful and well made kitchen tool. I've tried it out with different things from cheeses to some fruits and veggies. Definitely worth it to have around. I like how well made it is. Something that will last a long time in a world of plastic junk. A plus was how quickly it arrived as well!!
