Best instant oatmeal so far. Quick, tasty and easy to prepare. Add nearly anything with it for both flavor and taste.

Great for Heart Health, Cholesterol. Delicious, too.
My heart doctor recommended steel cut oats after I had heart failure. I tried a few brands, but Bob's is the best. The four pack is a great bargain compared to single bag price at the store. Good thing to get addicted to- only takes about 7-8 minutes to make.

Great breakfast meal
Excellent steel cut oats, quick cooking type. Bought originally at Costco, but they no longer have it. Great taste and texture over the others

Tastes good, not mushy.
These quick cooking steel cut oats are more chewy than I expected, but they are very good. I use a 3 to 1 ratio of water to oats as I also add flaxmeal. I cook them in the microwave and let them sit. Or I let them sit overnight and then cook them in the microwave. I eat them every day with different add-ins - nuts, raisins, dates, honey, fruits, yogurt - for variety.

Not that quick cooking…
I purchased this brand of oats twice so far. First batch were great, cooked through pretty quickly, as advertised, and were creamy and yummy. Second batch not so much. Why? Because I bought the steel cut oats instead of the rolled oats. I waited until I used every bag in the pack, to make sure this wasn’t just a one bag mishap. Every bag in the steel cut batch contained oats that took *forever* to cook. First bowl I heated them in the microwave for 3 min like I did with the rolled ones, but they came out practically uncooked. I microwaved them for another 5 mins - with breaks and adding more and more water every 1-2 min in between, as the oaks were soaking in much more liquid than in the instructions. But the oats were still not soft enough, so after microwaving them I added boiling water and let them sit for 30 min until they finally softened while still soaking. So now I cook them by pouring boiling water on them, on a 3 to 1 ratio, I let them sit for 10 min, then I microwave them for 3 min, with breaks to avoid overspills. Then I add more boiling water and let them sit, cause they keep soaking while they cool down and would otherwise turn into a hard mess. If I want a quick breakfast I pour the hot water on them at night and leave them in a covered glass container in the fridge overnight, and in the morning I add some milk and heat them for 2 min stirring them mid-time. The only other cooking choice I figured is boiling them on the stove, but it takes forever and you have to stand by them the whole time to mix them, so that’s a “no” for me. Definitely these aren’t quick cooking oats, more like regular ones. My advice: if you wan truly quick cooking oats get the rolled type. If you get the steel cut expect to spend a lot of time cooking them into an edible dish.

The best oatmeal!
I love these organic oats! I eat them everyday, quality is always consistent, and I don't have to worry about pesticides. Great price compared to the grocery store. I always keep a couple of cases in stock.

Great flavor and chew!
Flavor is great, but they are not recommending microwave. I misread the description. It will absolutely overflow in the microwave. Maybe if you cooked it 2 minute at a time you might stave off the overflow.
