I'm Rising: Determined. Confident. Powerful. (Rising Uplifting Poetry)

This book gives you a sense of peace. The messages are powerful. I am going through a challenging time in life. I feel relaxed and at ease, as I read each page.

I loved it! The book is divided into three chapters. The first one dealing with the pain and the destructive power of hurtful events in our lives. The second chapter deals with changing as a person in spite of our sufferings. The final chapter she pens the joy of victory in the aftermath of these trials. The first chapter was my favorite. Michelle Stradford uses vivid and graphic language to bring the reader to see a clear word pictures to describe the depth of despair in the worst of suffering. I'm proud of her for bravely dealing with the subject of suffering that even those close to us often do not want to hear. My favorite poem in the book however, is "Mission Me" found in the last chapter. This poem summarises the whole experience of trials, changing, and overcomming. Well Done!!!

I bought this poetry book for my daughter and loves.

I was searching for peace, understanding, and growth....this book is such a beautiful storm, positive affirmations, lifts your heart... helps your mind wrap around what your your soul was saying to you all along!! I can't thank the author enough for such a great blessing!

Great book but it’s falling apart and I have opened it only two times. Pages are just a falling!

If you are looking for a book for 2023 to inspire, reaffirm, and encourage you this is it. Doesn't disappointment, I read a page daily

Loved it!! I bought this for my daughter for graduation. She's getting ready to go to college... HBCU Bound!! I wanted her to have something to keep her inspired!!! This is a great book!!!!

I bought this for an overseas friend. I read a little bit of the poetry and loved it!! Great for a gift or yourself! It could be a good poetry book for a small group to use in a poetry study and discussion.

Got this from my granddaughter and she thoroughly enjoyed it

It is a short read plus the book looks premium on shelf and case , hardcover , good print and paper Quality , reviewing after 4 months and the book smells nice , also good for those who actually make cutouts for the purpose of journaling , inspirational lines and everything. Good buy but I would say a bit of expensive but cannot arhue it is of a international publication.
