K is for Knifeball: An Alphabet of Terrible Advice

Hilarious book and so nice to know there are other whimsically, lyrically warped-beyond-mst3k minds out there who mean no one any harm but can't help but laugh at least inwardly when stupid comes calling to collect on someone. My mother used to say it takes pain to be beautiful whenever I'd cry out when she'd nip too close cutting my hair. In a similar vein, I think stupidity should always be painful. It has been for me everytime I've tried it. I love this book because it proves to me that I'm not alone. It seems like me and my friends were always just one easy bad decision away from death or at the very least lots of pain and this book shows that I have tons of company in that regard.

Really enjoyed this book! Not for kids, but hilarious for parents. Well written and funny! Made a great birthday present!

Hilarious that the co-host of Game Grumps also played knifeball, what are the odds? My brother Brian literally had a ball just like that. This book is written for adults to aid in remembering all the cringy dangerous things they did growing up. The best!

I bought this for my 11-yr old daughter, but knew that her older brother & sister (15 both) would enjoy it as well. The rhymes are yes absolutely FILLED with bad advice and dry humor is the prevailing charm of this book. I would not recommend this for children who are not of an age where they don't get the concept of sarcasm. Examples such as Blender - put Daddy's wallet in there and turn it on might not be so funny if it actually had a chance of happening... I DO recommend this book for children & ADULTS who have a sincerely twisted perspective on the world or adults with that twisted-ness trying to nurture the same in their older children. A very good buy and will be investing in other materials from these authors.

Cute Gag gift. Some funny pages and others seem too childlike to be funny for an adult's sense of humor.

Picked this one up on a whim just because I was delighted by the cover. Some truly horrific advice! The illustrations are a lot of fun.

I wanted this book for a while and finally got it. I laughed my way through more than once. I might re-gift it at some point, but not until I'm done looking at it and laughing. A true classic for twisted minds.
