Childhood Rediscovered
As I grew up, there were many things I had to leave behind: beloved pets, lack of responsibility, and the notion that people would "get" my sense of humor. Also, it became harder to find dots (small sugared drops stuck to a piece of paper), small waxed bottles with a sweet liquid inside, and Pop Rocks. Imagine my delight when I found Pop Rocks on Amazon! I bought the package of two of every favor to share with my daughter when she came to visit. A week later I bought the same package, because my dog-walker also loved them. At that time, I decided that it might be better to keep my stash a secret. These Pop Rocks don't have the larger balls that I remember, and seem to be of a uniform consistency. But they still pop. And rock.

PopRocks are the cats meow
I know, I know. Typical story you're trying to make just a simple unicorn pizza and you go to the cabinet and you're out of pop-rocks. DAMMIT! So you try and scrape by without using the pop rocks. You have the sugar cookie rainbow dough, cream cheese icing, sprinkles, cotton candy and for what was either good measure out guilt over pop rocks you add peeps..... Low and behold, it was a collosal failure. Not one person feel into a sugar coma, and everyone kept all their teeth. But now! Now, thanks be to the Amazon god's and these fine people here, I have what I need to complete my master piece, my fiest de resistance. The complete and final Unicorn Pizza to end all Unicorn Pizzas. Thank you to all who were involved in this. Now my review of the Pop Rocks themselves. As soon as they arrived I was pumped. I rushed into the kitchen googling like a school girl. I ripped open the package and chose the green apple as my first victim. I put the entire package contents in my mouth and what happened next was nothing short of orgasmic. The flavor literally exploded in my mouth. My lips flew across the table and landed in a half eaten salad. Four teeth shot out skipped across the table and embedded themselves into the sheetrock just past my wife's head. My tongue looked like a football at kickoff as it left my mouth at near supersonic speed. Try as it might to get out of the way my cat caught it right in the side of the face, flipping him into the living room. He's okay, he landed on his feet. He has a few more lives to give.In short, as soon as I heal I'm doing it again. The Pop Rocks are great.

Fun treat!
I used my PopRocks to welcome my 3rd graders on Open House night! I created a colorful note that said. "This year is going to ROCK!" Love, Mrs. KeyMy kiddos loved it! (& I loved having a few left over I didn't need for students to enjoy myself! It brought back memories from years ago!

Just like when we were kids!
I bought these for Halloween. These are just as loud as when we were kids. The furnace guy saw them on my counter and almost lost his mind. Of course I had to give him one. It made his day.52 year old friend saw them when he came over, giggled like a little kid and ate two packs.Lesson: Either hide them if you are having people over or order twice as many as you think you need.

Explosive Fun
Arrived on time and product is as described. This will make for a fun group "taste test" with kids and adults who enjoy sweets. It would be a good way to kill an hour with birthday parties and the such. Some of the bigger pieces really kick and are loud. No humans were harmed as a result of these explosive candies.

Little packets of nostalgia!
We are planning a (late) Easter Egg hunt as a trip down memory lane for our grown nieces & nephews. Grandpa always took them on a hayride & they would come back to the farm for an egg hunt. Now they are scattered all over the US. Pop rocks is something from their generation so I was very happy to find them. I haven't tasted them but they arrived in good shape & quickly for which I am very thankful.

Yummy, fizzy.
These are just as awesome as I remember. The berry and watermelon and cherry are the best, with cotton candy a close 4th. A pack is a quick popping snack! Feel the fizz...

Not quite how I remember Pop Rocks as a kid
The candy tastes exactly as I remember it from my childhood. Sort of tart and tangy. As far as size goes, the product looked more like large grains of colored sand than what I'd call "rocks". The largest pieces were no more than about 1/8" across at their widest. Most were 1/16" or smaller. As for the "pop" (which was a rarity), a better description for me would be "sizzle" (which was very common). Overall a good candy for kids and those remembering their childhoods. For me it didn't offer much surprise value as a handout for kids or grownups. My two cents worth .
