Joanne Fluke's Lake Eden Cookbook:: Hannah Swensen's Recipes from The Cookie Jar Mass Market Paperback – September 24, 2013

What a fun book -- lots of yummy-sounding recipes and little tidbits about Lake Eden life to go with them. The recipes tend to make large quantities but most are easily divisible. I just received the book today but have gone through it and bookmarked recipes I want to try soon. Very happy with my purchase.

What is there not to like???? I gifted to a friend who got her first taste of mysteries that involve baking!!! It’s a must to have on your shelf!

I'm going to leave the same review for both seller and item, because I'm not really sure where else this should go. I like the Hannah Swensen series, and I LOVE baking, but I'm worried about this purchase. On the cover, clear, unobstructed, and in all caps are the words "uncorrected proof" and "not for sale". Those words were no where in the description of the product. Oddly, I'm more worried about spending $20 on an unproofed cookbook, than I am about the seller making money. There are two types of recipes in this book; recipes that are actually part of the printed books and recipes that compliment the story that is included in the cookbook and have never been printed before. This is not a collection of all the recipes that are found throughout books 1-9 of the series. Fingers are crossed that everything goes well!

Absolutely love all the recipes we’ve tried- and we’ve tried a lot! In fact The first time we tried blue blueberry muffins all we had was strawberry pie filling… (snow storm and we live far out of town so no trip to the store!) so they were pink blueberry muffins and still amazing.I am just wondering when we will get the 2nd installment of a cookbook!?! Even if it’s not a story- please please give us a cookbook! 🥰

Unfortunately it is the size of a paperback and the print is tiny. I would love it if it was released in a larger format! All the recipes from the books so you can make cookies forever!

One of the things I enjoy about Joanne Fluke’s books is that there are always re pies in them. At least the Hannah Swenson Mystery series do. I highly recommend this book of recipes.

Undoubtedly, the best book on my shelves! There is a story in there too and a map of the home of Hannah Swensen. Whether or not you enjoy reading the series by Joanna Fluke, you will love the recipes attached to this book. I am working my way through them, there are so many and all amazing. Not just cakes and cookies but savoury dishes too. Please bare in mind when making cookie recipes, that the character in this book makes them to sell. The first time I made a recipe, I ended up with 96 cookies. Living on my own,I ended up selling them for charity. And let me tell you, EVERY SINGLE person thought they had been bought from the shops! Of course, I now want to quit my job and start a similar business, but that won't happen until I win the lottery. For now, I will have to satisfy myself with working through this amazing book. I hope the author makes more because this one is becoming my bible and I don't know what I will do when I have made all of the recipes, other than make them all again!

If you like the recipes in Joanne Fluke's murder books you will like this. Only four stars because not keen on the quality of the paper in this paperback.

The recipes are fabulous, of course, but what I didn't expect was the wonderful stories that gave insights into the inhabitants of Eden Lake. A must reed for any Joanne Fluke fan!
