Rockville RXA-F2 2400 Watt Peak/600w RMS 4 Channel Car Amplifier+Amp Kit

Haven't turned it yet but out of the box it sounds great. Running 4 punch 6x9's and 2 alpine 6.5" mids. 2 channel input to 4 out.

I love this amp, it got it along with the install kit and what I thought was a great price for a amp. I purchased for a car that going to be my daily driver as well as weekend cruiser. I wanted a sound system that when I wanted to turn it up it wouldn't be a problem. So i looked at this rockville amp because of the reviews and the price point. I am running in this set up a Alpine ilx-w650, two 6.5 rockville component speakers and two 6x9 rockville component speakers on this amp, for the sub I have another brand amp and subwoofer. The sound was great but what I noticed after about 15 mins at not even 50% volume the amp goes into protection mode. At first I thought it was my bluetooth disconnecting but when I looked in the trunk at the amp light it was red, I couldn't find my laser temp gun to take the actual temp but as soon as I find it I will, I live in Houston, TX and it does get hot but my other brand amps havent had this issue. I wont say im disappointed for now I have taken another reviewers advise and purchased a turbo fan to cool it along with a temp sensor to automatically turn on the fan. I am not bashing this amp, I figure if I had a hatchback where the amp is mounted on the inside where i have AC it possibly wouldn't turn off, but this can be a deal breaker when your rocking out to your favorite tunes and the amp dies and all you have is bass from the sub.

I don't go looking for light back rubs.I need massages vigorous enough that I can still feel it in my bones hours later.So my music in my truck must be vigorous as well.The vibrations need to be strong enough so that a ModelS next to me cautiously veers 2 lanes away.And the shocked "driver" thinks i'm dancing in my seat but i'm totally still & probably thinking of hewing stone and how much arm strength is needed to bend steel.Plus, I don't dance.This amp? It allows me to aggressivley attack stress and awkward silences.So?Yeah. Do.Its gunmetal. Easy to install. Serious. Slim. Lots of options. Make sure your ground and power cables are right. It has 2 fuses if you get this mixed up.Enjoy your bone massage.

Keep in mind, I've had high dollar US made amps from the early 90's with unregulated power supplies jamming mids and highs so hard and bass so deep your passengers got sick! While this amp is getting the job done on the mids and highs at an amazing price and sounds awesome at moderate levels to high levels the sound quality is not there at peak thresholds, I might try some other speakers but I doubt that's it. 109 watts RMS is not too shabby for this price, and I don't think you could beat it for what is does. Amp does get hot but has not shut off. I had problems with the low quality primary "amp on" wire that was so thin and fragile you could not get it attached to the amps Allen screw with out it breaking the copper in the wire. I had some better primary wire laying around that I ended up using.

I have had many top brand amplifiers and speakers but the power these amplifiers make is shocking and amazing rockville ony top 5 brands is shocking number 1 great job to them and there team . I just recommend to a customer about this brand and he also purchased a 5 channel that's amazing and he also purchased a sub with box and great sound.

The package arrived faster than I expected and was packaged nicely. The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the box was the build quality and size. The unit was larger than I expected, as I was putting this in a 1995 Ford F-150 extended cab so space was important for me. I was able to mount it upside down on the rear bench seat and it fit perfect (will attach pictures later if possible).Took me forever to install as I was retro-fitting everything into a truck cab but it was totally worth it. The sound quality is awesome, getting over the flu so I haven’t been able to hear all levels of the sound but my passengers have all said it sounds great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is wanting to bring some power to an aftermarket system!

This amp sounds great. I'm so pleased with this amp ot sounds so good. It has so many features and enough power for what ever you want. The wiring kit is ok I recommend replacing the rca wires like I did cuz they pick up interference.
