This is a great kit!!
I bought this form my daughter for Christmas and this was a big hit! She is 6. We did the project together and she loved every minute of it. It is recommended for older ages because you have to use boiling water to mis the crystal solution which can be done with some 6 year olds with full supervision. It was such fun!

Took about 15 minutes.
Requires boiling water. Overnight they began. Will take a month though, to complete,it says. Yes, if they complete as promised, I would buy again. Kids 7-14.

Fun project
I loved the concept but 2 jars broke in transport they are incredibly fragile. The colors of the final products varied but were much weaker than those depicted here. Was fun to watch does take time for experiment to complete with open jars so be careful to make sure the child doing it understands that at the start and has some parience.

Only colored water
Did not grow any crystals. Borax does a much better job than this kit. Very disappointed 8 yr old.

This did not work :(My boys and I followed the instructions and waited a month only to be dissapointed by the results.

Broken geode and glass co
Some of the glasses were broken. We didn’t notice until started so couldn’t return the entire time for a refund. The geode was already broken in the box. There was dust all over this box I imagine it’s from the geode or powder from the broken container.

Junk! I did exactly what it called for measured the water and heat then waited a month. It was cool after the first day then it pretty much stopped growing. Don’t waste your money!
