Flat Fad
I had an idea that perhaps my Ethernet box with approx 15 cat5e cables attached to a router would look neater if I switched to compact flat cables. The result was the opposite. Flat cables cannot be bundled / zipped tied (neatly) and the 15 flat cables look like a nest of black plastic floppy fettuccine noodles. Flat cables may not always result in an intended professional look, especially in an enclosed space.

A decently good cable when modified
Overall this cable is alright for the money. It gives me 1gbps which is standard but you may need to modify the cable like I had. The boot was too big for my computer and was pushing against the IO shield, so I cut a bit of it off and it fits perfectly then. The actual clip that holds the cable into the computer also seems a bit shorter compared to the rest of my cables and required me to used a pen to disengage the clip to remove it from my computerTLDR:Pros: decent cable for the money with a modification for further compatibility.Cons: Plastic clip shorter than usual, resulting in difficulty removing cable if boot is removed/shortened.

WARNING!! DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE!!
This is NOT CAT-5E cable. Only runs at 100MB vice 1GB like CAT-5E. I have seen several people state the same and should have read before buying. This company is either incorrectly labeling the cables or intentionally deceiving customers. BUYERS BEWARE!!

Small and compact due to being flat and works well
Although Cat5e is an older standard, it offers the speeds that I need. I have a 400mbps internet connection at home and Cat5e is still more than adequate. I chose this over a Cat6 cable simply because it was flat and thin and take up less space in the tight area behind my desk than a Cat6 or 7 cable. Since I only needed a few feet of cabling, I wasn't concerned with interference. If you're looking for a thin cable with good build quality and fast speeds, this isn't a bad choice

Defective Cable Out of the Box
Did not work. Garbage product with low quality control. I wasted 2 hours of failed troubleshooting efforts trying to get my NETGEAR Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Model: R8000 router to recognize it. Finally, I swapped out for an older CAT 5 and bingo.

Didn’t work for me
I purchased this product to connect my Internet modem to my swimming pool interface module. After trying to connect to my swimming pool application and I couldn’t connect. I thought maybe it was an issue with the coax cable. I did my troubleshooting and connected the short original cat 5e cable and it solved the problem. I’m not sure if it’s a bad cable or it doesn’t work because of the longer length.

It works!
I have purchased 3 of these and so far the 2 I have used work flawlessly no issues. The third is still in the package but looks fine. It’s a standard cable so basically, it works aha.The only annoying thing is in some instances the tab on the top isn’t really long enough to press down the plastic tab to remove from the device, so for my gaming pc it was kinda hard to disconnect when your trying to reach behind and get it. It’s not that big of a deal for me personally so I still feel like the cable is a great buy for the price, but for those that have big hands, they may have a prob. But maybe not :P

FLAT is the new THICC. Grips n Hugs your modem/router like BAE. Fair Price.
"Thickness doesn't matter, it's what you do with it." Asif. 😁- Sleek.- Flattened is the new THICC.- Great Locking-mechanism at both the ends. No more disconnecting from the internet due to broken RJ45 connector ends on modem and WiFi router.- Pretty decent length and Price.A MUST-HAVE if you're experiencing random disconnect due to broken pins on your eth cable.

Quality cable, just be careful when you disconnect
Very good quality ethernet cable, seems to be sturdy enough to withstand pressure from walking on it (put it under the carpet), you won't feel it as long as its sandwiched between the carpet and some foam underlayer. A slight issue might be the connections, as it may be difficult to remove on an usual basis, the flap needs to be pushed quite well to be able to remove it from the ethernet slot. Might want to reconsider if space will be an issue when trying to remove it from the ethernet slot but in my case it suits my needs perfectly (its more like plug in and forget).
