Great Peanuts
I'm 80 years old and have been eating peanuts since I was old enough to eat them. I like peanuts raw, fried, roasted, boiled and just about any other way you can prepare them. You might say "I never had a peanut I didn't like". Hampton Roads peanuts are top-of-the-line peanuts. Their cost is reasonable and competitive.I buy the roasted peanuts in 5lb bags for wildlife that willingly shares with me (I eat a handful every now and then). Crows and bluejays love them. Squirrels, are the ultimate peanut consumers. What the don't eat, they bury, so peanuts never last long. Raccoons, and possible possums and armadillos,, like them too. When I started feeding them to racoon's (I installed a cat door in my shed) they didn't know how to eat them so they just chewed up the nut, shelll and all. Now, after 20 years of feeding wild raccon's, some of them have learned to eat them by cracking the shell and extracting the nuts, others are still a little messy with them. Luckily the shells are easy to sweep up. Another advantage of peanuts in the shell is they hold up well in the rain. My outside feeder has birds and animals eating the peanuts, inclement weather, or not. In all the time I have been buying Hampton peanuts I have never had a bag of stale nuts. They always taste fresh and better than ones I roast myself (in a MW). I seldom rate a product a ":5" but in the case of Hampton peanuts, I definately give them a solid 5. Hopefully, they will hold their price to a reasonable level in these inflationary tiimes.

Squirrel Approved!
I wasn't much for unsalted peanuts but these Hampton Farms peanuts are so full of flavor. Since they are unsalted I can share them with my covid Buddy Earle. We just finished off our first 5lb bag and he's asking for more. Excellent snack.

My squirrels thank you.
I like them too, but I purchased them mainly for the daily delight of watching my neighborhood squirrels busily collecting and eating them. Thanks for offering the unsalted variety.

My crows love these!!
The media could not be loaded. I have chickens, and the hawks harass them. That makes this chicken mom very sad and upset. So I befriended the neighborhood crows to keep the hawks away by tempting them with these peanuts. Crows naturally hate hawks, they love to torment hawks. It worked like a charm! No more hawks and my crows love the peanuts! They have told all their crow friends as well. Now I have a murder on my street daily. They come back every day for breakfast and dinner. Never fails. I look forward to my cute crow buddies coming for their peanuts. I tried other brands, and oh boy they were not happy! This is the brand they like! Need to keep me in stock please! They can be your mascot if you are interest! wink winkThey have returned everyday since June 2021. I look forward to their visits, I think the feelings mutual. I have had no hawks since they have been around. Which means I have very happy chickens!!

Great pricing for a good product
My squirrels love them....they will stand at the back door looking in to see if there are any more...a favorite for all of them...they chase each other away from the pile at the door, steal from each other, and generally have a ball...as do I watching them.

I bought these for my crows
I have fed my local crows in my back yard for a long while now and figured I'd make them work a bit. I read that they like unsalted peanuts in their shell, I'd been giving them dry roasted peanuts which they swallowed in one, too easy, I threw some of these nuts in the shell out and I saw one of my regulars walking round the nut from this bag, pecking it, then hammering it with his beak on the grass, it was hilarious I could almost hear him going "I.have.to.get.this.damn.nut.out.of.here" as he eventually cracked it open. He came back and took another complete nut in its shell, obviously back to 'her indoors' sitting on the nest and just imagining the comment "you didn't crack it open?? how can I do that sitting on the nest, you just take it to the street and crack it for me you lump".I might be reading too much into that, but I kind of think not :)

I've already eaten 3/4 of the bag crunchy and fresh
Maybe buying a bigger bag isn't great for me, as I'm sure I eat too many peanuts. Still, I like the crunch of the shell, and tend to munch peanuts when I'm hungry as a way of weaning myself off less healthy snacks. This bag came with the vac seal still intact (the bag hadn't been punctured or popped), so the peanuts were still fresh. I've parsed them into several other sealable bags, and the last bag I'm working on now is still crunchy and tastes good.
