Dermalure Acid Neutralizer gave me the confidence I needed to do a glycolic peel
After researching several neutralizers for glycolic peels, I read alot of reviews, recommending Dermalure Acid Neutralizer Skin pH Balance. I did a patch test today with a glycolic peel I ordered. Its recommended, to do a patch test with glycolic acids so, thats what I did. Then, I used Dermalure Acid Neutralizer on my patch test spot. I didn't notice much burning from the glycol though. I don't have sensitive skin. But, it's necessary to neutralize the glycolic acid. The mild burning, or I'll just say tingling, neutralzed pretty quickly when I applied the Dermalure Acid Neutralizer. With my ecperience using Dermalure, and how effective it worked to neutralize the glycolic acid I had on my test patch spot, I'm not nervous any longer about doing the rest of my face. Dermalure Acid Neutralizer, also gave me the confidence, to purchase a higher % of glycolic acid the next time I need to purchase a bottle. Its always recommended, to start at 10% to 30% glycolic acid if you are a beginner. Don't think because a neutralizer is very effective, you can go higher on the %. You still have to apply the acid to your face. Neutralizing process is second. I'm going to go ahead and recommend Dermalure Acid Neutralizer to anyone doing a glycolic peel. Whether you're using a low % glycolic acid, or a higher %. Dermalure IS effective at neutralizing the glycolic acid. Always read direction. Don't rely on others outcome, expecting the same for you. Reading reviews, and underdtanding other users experiences, will give you the understanding of how these products work and how they may work for you. I chose Dermalure because of the positive reviews I read, HOPING that my experience, based on my skins sensitivity what I could expect. If you find my review helpful please click yes. I appreciate your reading my review. If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to ask. I'll do my best to answer. It is a chemical, works well but be safe
I'm used to medium death peels at the dermatologist so 20% wasn't quite what I needed. It was easy to use and gentle on my skin, however I never did peel. I truly believe it's only because my skin is used to a stronger percentage. It is still a good product.

Great Product
I use this product after applying a peeling solution to my face. I bought it last time on January 2022. I am purchasing it again. It has worked great on me. Just follow the instructions on the side of the bottle.

Effective!
I use three levels of medical grade peels, very carefully. (**AND** - caution, you need to consult an expert before using these and understand what you’re doing and the limits.) This neutralizer has been excellent with each. I want to caution that I’ve had my previous neutralizer on hand, while trying this one, each time. Because everyone is different and it is your skin, you should never trust and expect someone else’s review to be your own experience and you should have your own safely plan. However, this neutralizer has been effective for me with all three different peels.

Good, but NaHCO3 is better
Works as promised. I purchased this when I began using a 30% glycolic acid peel. I was very wary and wanted only professional products. Honestly, you're better off using baking soda/water solution for alpha and beta hydroxyacid peels. Not only is the neutralization faster, it's cheap and easy!In two tablespoons of soda, add maybe a teaspoon of water. Make it thin enough to smooth into your skin, but thick enough to stick. It will bubble when neutralizing the acid and a bit of heat is given off in the reaction, but don't be alarmed. It's over within seconds and painless next to the acid itself.

Use on skin for < 1 minute or you'll be very burnt
Be VERY VERY careful with this stuff. Do a 2 minute test spot. For me, the peeling lasted days and was quite horrible to deal with in a daily basis. But once it is all healed, I was very happy. LESS IS MORE HERE. Do not attempt do do your whole face at once, I cant emphasize this enough. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO YOUR WHOLE FACE AT ONCE!!! Your face will look like it's been turned inside out for awhile. You will not be able to go outside without something to cover it. Do it a little at a time. No more than 1 minute.
