Malden International Designs Baby's 1st Year Wall Collage Picture Frame, 12 Option, 6-4x6 & 6-4x4, White

I was given this same frame for my first born and decided to have the same one for my second. The "glass" part is plastic and the frame can easily be bent/broken but I don't have a problem with that even though a lot of people seem to. So long as it's on the wall it will be fine and if for some reason you drop it the plastic won't shatter so I prefer it over glass. I personally love this frame, I thought it was so cute with my first born and the picture spots are 4x6 and 4x4 so it makes it was easier to just print the pictures without the headache of the small picture sizes most of these frames tend to have. I'm sorry but after kids the absolute last thing you're going to do is deal with wallet size pictures. There's enough stress remembering to take the pictures, print them and put them in the frame. Don't bother adding to that.

I bought this frame two years ago for my son's pictures and I'm very happy with it. It is a larger frame compared to other Baby's First Year frames, but that's what I wanted. I have it in our hallway and just ordered a second one for baby #2. As others have said, it's not made from the most high quality material. I'm still giving it 5 stars because: 1. The price is great. Other collage frames this size run for twice as much. 2. It doesn't look cheap. The quality of the materials are lower than more expensive frames you'd buy at a store, but it hasn't affected the performance or look of the frame for me. The frame LOOKS great, and that's all I really need it to do. It's up against the wall, and no one is really touching it, so I really don't mind the materials used. 3. It's easy to use 4"6 prints in this frame. You don't need to shrink pictures to tiny sizes, like you do for some of the smaller frames. 4. People seem to really like it. I've had visitors compliment the frame and ask me where I found it.

My motivation for getting this item was that I wanted to put it up for my daughter's first birthday party to show family and friends how much she had changed over the year. The frame itself is plastic and also the area over the pictures is just a sheet of clear plastic, but that didn't upset me. I was not expecting wood/glass. I loved the fact that I could take normal 4x6 pictures and fit them into the openings with no problem. I had to trim a few of the square shaped months, but I really didn't have to try hard to find a picture that would fit in each month. I still have it up on the wall in my house over a year later and my daughter points it out often and wants to look at the pictures of herself.

It looks good so far. I have the pictures in it and I really like that the are a mix of 4x6 slots and 4x4 slots. I like that it is plexi glass since I managed to drop it twice. This is perfect for a nursery. The plexi glass is staticky so make sure if you have pets to put the frame together in a clean area.

This is an excellent frame! It looks great and I love that the pictures are 4x6 and 4x4. Looks much better on the wall than other, smaller 12mo frames because you don't have to get right up close to see the baby. :) It dies have a plastic film type over to protect the photos, rather than glass, but you can't tell without touching it.

This frame is the perfect display item for those first months of life photos. We purchased this and put our grandson's photos in it, and on his first birthday - we presented the parents with a gift, this frame. They loved it. The openings for the photos are spacious, the frame well built and we liked the plastic "sheet" to protect the photos, not using glass, so it is not that heavy. Will purchase more to have on hand when the next child comes along so they match!

I purchased this frame as a gift for my parents, for photos of their first grandchild. I chose this frame over similar options for two primary reasons. 1) The photos are a nice size. Many similar frames have small 2" square photos, which are hard to see clearly and require cutting down photographs significantly. 2) The animal placeholders ensure that the frame is cute and presentable right from the start, even when you have just one photo in it. It was a hit with the grandparents and is hanging in their kitchen now!

We put pictures in this for our daughters 1st bday/baptism where family came from ALL OVER the US. Most had just met her the first time at this. this frame is NOT filled with MINI photos, I used 4x6 pictures and only a few needed to be trimmed to fit right but not by much. EVERYONE LOVED the frame. On a side note. the little animal pictures are great as you go. You don't have a bunch of empty holes. it makes it pretty cute.

Really cute frame. I printed monthly photos in black and white and the project turned out quite nice! It’s nothing fancy - ‘tape your photos onto a blueprint’ style frame but does the job well :D Gets lots of compliments! 5/5
