SoundQubed Q1-2200.2 2200W RMS Single-Channel (Monoblock) Class D Car Audio Amplifier with Remote Gain Control

This is the only amp that has been true to every one bit of what it says it can do. RMS: meets and acceeds. Reliability: I personallyhave bought three other brands of amps threw amazon that said that they out performed this MONSTER, this amp is the best bang for your buck, sound quality is top quality. Have it hooked up to my dual 1 ohm 15inch treos ssp 1000 rms each. Pounds them no problem. At 1ohm the amp only ever gets warm to the touch. Never heard of this brand before. But they definatly have my attention now. Cant wait to buy another one and daisy chain them.Power of 4, is a must! and 2 extra batteries. Know your wiring Is what and where it should be for what you have.

It is a really nice amp. Better have the electrical to back it up though

Showed up on time, pakaged well and very sharp looking amp. Bought this to replace a Orion 1500.1dz, wanted a little more power and read great reviews on 2200. Spent 2 hours rearranging wires, mounts ect to get this monster to fit under seat 04 chevy Silverado quad cab. Was excited to hear difference between Orion and Soundqubed. Started truck, connected to pandora with bluetooth- all levels turned 1/8 from minimum settings- did not get 1 note to sub. Got a whiff of smoke, looked behind me and smoke coming from under seat. Shut system/truck off immediately and i investigated. Smoke coming from rca/bass boost ect end of amp only. Checked all connections, made sure nothing backwards or loose- i found nothing wrong. I uninstalled and reinstalled Orion amp- same power/ground/remote/ rca cable( all high quality, 0 ga sky high ofc- big three done previously with 220 amp ho alternator and 2 Optima yellow top 750CA batteries). Orion worked perfectly on same wiring. Very let down/unimpressed with Soundqubed- yes amp is covered, getting refund next week but time wasted and frustration for trying new company to me was not worth it. Faulty amp, i get it, but in 25 years building systems this was the only one that did not even get 5 seconds out of before failing- very big red flag. Personally i dont trust audio equipment that fails that quickly/no root cause for failure evident besides board shorted out for unknown reason. Will be looking around for next 2k amp with other companies, i am not brand loyal to anyone. Know good equipment when i hear it/test it and choose those companies to buy from. Not afraid to spent extra on quality equipment ever, just needs to last and be dependable. This product from soundqued was neither of those things.
