My old grease gun was becoming a mess to even use anymore. I wanted to get a budget priced one here, but didn’t want to waste my money on junk. This gg is solidly made and works real nice. I have a VW Bug and use it to grease the front suspension. On my older, lever type gg, I used to get the tip stuck onto the zert fittings and had to do gymnastics to get the thing to let go. This comes with a standard coupler AND a quick release coupler. I used the quick release and love the ease of it. They recommend putting some Teflon tape on the hose fittings to prevent leakage. It also features a relief valve that vents any trapped air inside. The pistol grip action works super smoothly. I was sad when I broke my grease gun I got when I was 16 last weekend. This cheered me up because it was so much nicer. Just very comfortable and well thought out. I can't speak to the longevity, but it is very nice and comfortable. The locking tip is great too. Can be one handed operation for tight spaces.

I purchased this so I have a gun for moly grease and one for standard grease. My old one is the regular style that requires one hand to hold it and one to pump. The pistol grip style of this gun makes operation far easier and leaves a hand free to perform other tasks. I’m considering ordering another to replace my old one just because it’s so much easier and more convenient.

Not being familiar with this type of grease gun, I went straight to the instructions. They are very good. I was greasing up my bearings in no time. It is durable, comes with all the necessary attachments, and is now cleaned up and waiting for the next grease job. I like this product.

Just bought my second one of these. We build hiking & mountain bike trails, and use these out in the woods to service our equipment. The one I bought in October has served well, even through cold weather, so I bought another one.A word of warning: I let myself get tempted by the bells and whistle whistles (and clip on coupler) of the Fantictas greas gun, and ended up returning it immediately because the threads were mismatched, so the hoses wouldn’t screw into the body. Plus, it was just kind of flimsy. This one is much better.
