Breathtaking!! The shadow box is handmade with cheaper materials like duct tape and pine, but wonderful craftsmanship. Nice and cleanly done. The cicadas however, are absolutely BREATHTAKING! They’re in prestine condition. I have many taxidermy bugs framed, and this is fantastic quality ! Well worth the money. The smell everyone is complaining about is mothballs. That smell will fade in a week or two. The only thing I was disappointed with is there’s nothing attached so it can be hung. That’s a quick fix though! So that does not affect my review.

Finally got package!
New Review: I ordered this item on Nov. 29, 2013 with another similar insect taxidermy and I finally got the 3 Mix Cicadas today, Jan. 7, 2014. I guess it was worth the wait because I am please. I am taking into consideration that this item was shipped from Thailand. So I will change my review and increase it to 3 stars for this seller...The Three Cicadas are beautiful, impressive and well mounted. The use of mothballs in the framed case is necessary to help prevent and protect the dried cicadas from being eaten up by other tiny insects. All natural history museums use mothballs or similar chemical substance to protect their dried insect collections. The main thing, the seller did deliver a nice quality product.

Beautiful, Sturdy, and Accurate
The title of my review says it all. The insects are in perfect condition and nicely mounted. The package smelled of formaldehyde upon unpacking, but that comes with the territory.
