I bought this for my husband who has a 59cms head quite large, after receiving a positive answer to my question of would it fit? I am relieved to say yes it fits, the hat is of good quality straw and blocked well, the embellishment is attractive and a positive one to the hat, the only reason I am giving this a four star rating is because I had to steam it back into shape, the manufacturer needs to look at how the hats are being packaged, the hat arrived in a plastic bag without any stuffing inside the head to keep the shape shame because that's all it needs. I would say that if you are going to buy this hat and receive it squashed as I did you could steam it gently with steam from the kettle until slightly moist then stuff the head with a tea towel squeeze or pinch the head at the side to create the desired effect and leave to dry overnight.

Really disappointed with this, the size and quality were as expected but it came in a flat box (could have been mistaken for a book) so is very misshaped. I've had it out on a side all day but is just maintaining its crumpled look. Such a shame!

It’s a great design. It is well made, and nicely packaged. The drawstring option is clever because you can make it slightly tighter. I’ve had to do this because I found the hat was bigger than I was expecting. I measured my head as 60cm. After buying the 58-61cm option, it’s quite loose and feel that it would easily fly off on a windy day. If I had more time before my holiday, I would’ve replaced it with a smaller size.

Was a bit dubious about this regarding quality and size etc but as it was not massive money - shelled out.Really pleased with it. Came in large box with a plastic supportive insert to keep the shape. The quality is good and the fit is spot on although there is a facility to adjust. I measured my head at a tad under 58cm and went for the medium. Time will tell as to how it stands up to folding / packing etc. All good so far though.

I wasn't sure what to expect size wise as no size was specified on the listing and only one photograph was shown so you couldn't see the quality detail inside. When received, a very speedy 2 days later, it was a M/L and fitted my husband perfectly. The quality is excellent, far superior to anything he'd tried on the high street and less expensive. A very good purchase.

Great hat at a great price. Don't worry if it's slightly out of shape on arrival... it can be crushed down and then reshaped easily. I pack mine flat in a suitcase for hols and it looks fab once you pop it back into shape, don't be scared of folding it, the material can take it.

I have rather large head for a woman and it is a constant challenge to find a summer hat that fits and looks good. This one did the trick! My head's size is 60-61, XL (size 62) fits perfectly, allowing for my "main" to be comfortably covered for it, rather than flattened and "squashed" :-). Love it! I think it will perfectly fit both man or woman. Very happy with this purchase.

Really pleased with this hat, looks and feels lovely.At first when it came it was to big for me then I read more into it and it can be adjusted.Would recommend this hat and I’ll be purchasing it again in the different colours .
