Easy to fit. Works well

Arrived a day early, perfect condition, with handy screwdrivers included. Bought for my HP Pavilion 14-bp0xx. Watched a YouTube video on how to remove the back cover. Took 10 minutes to fit. Working well. Extended the life of my laptop which is better news for the planet.

Quality is good and performance is ok

I couldn't find any HP original replacement battery for my laptop, but this battery was a very good fix to my problem. Easy to fit (make sure it is the correct one for your laptop by making sure it's either listed as a compatible model or your current battery has same part code, and compare the image with your current battery) and have had for a few months and works as good as when my hp original battery was new. I did read in some reviews about the battery expanding for some users, I didn't have a problem but would still say it would be a good idea to open the laptop up and check it every so often.

I was a bit dubious about buying this but I thought I'd take a punt. It was cheaper than most others online, not quite the cheapest but delivery leadtime was great (next day). I'd never installed a new battery before but I'm quite practical so thought I'd save myself the expense and hassle of going to a repair shop. At first I couldn't remove the laptop back panel but did a bit of research on youtube and solved that easily. Battery was easy to fit - so easy I doubted it could be that simple and maybe I hadn't installed correctly. I was very happy when I found I had, in fact, done it right. I ran a diagnostic tool on the HP site (my laptop is an HP, you'll need to check out your manufacturer) and it told me I needed to calibrate. I tried this several times and can't get it to finalise. Either it's not calibrated and, in time, I'll need another battery OR it's HPs way of trying to stop ppl buying nonHP branded parts. (I tried to purchase battery direct from HP but they no longer sell it - so I had little choice but to go 'off-piste')Either way, it works perfectly for now and I'm totally happy at having saved myself money - and very proud of fixing the issue myself.

"I purchased this product based on multiple positive reviews and responses to my inquiry about the battery life after a full charge. However, replacing the battery turned out to be a nightmare. The screwdrivers that came with the kit damaged the screw heads, making it difficult to remove the old factory battery and replace it with the new one. After six attempts using additional tools, I finally broke the old battery to replace it with the new one. Unfortunately, the new battery's power only lasts for an hour, just like the old one. I feel cheated and wonder how truthful the reviews and answers to questions posted on Amazon are. I am losing trust in Amazon as it is becoming a rogue place like eBay. I also suspect there are chatbots set up to answer customer questions via AI to lure them into buying products. Amazon needs to step in and remove these unruly sellers. I have opted for a return, but I have to pay the fee to send it back. I regret my decision to change the battery and would not recommend buying it. Please avoid it at all costs."
