WOW! Lots of Benefits for Me with This and NO side effects Like Medication
I'm just so amazed by how well this product works. Some benefits I noticed within a few says of taking and some took a couple of weeks.I had a sore shoulder - not arthritis exactly but probably more age related. It's my left shoulder and I'm left handed. It got so bad that even raising my arm above my head while stretching caused a sharp pain that lasted a couple of minutes even after lowering my arm. That pain is now gone and my joints in general seem like they feel better and for sure I have more range of motion.I am peri-menopausal/menopausal and mean with it and I cry over nothing too. UGH! I was taking a very low dose of Prozac but stopped about 2 weeks before I got this hoping I no longer needed it (I'd been on it about a year) but my symptoms came back. I have not started taking the Prozac again because I find if I take 3 of these every day, my mood is very good. Like I used to be before peri-menopause.One last thing is I have type 2 diabetes and I've noticed my readings are about 5-10 points lower while taking this. I don't know for sure it's this - I think it is because I've not been doing anything significantly different lately so.....Maybe.This is now one of my "got to have" supplements. It seems like it's working great and I've not had any side effects whatsoever.

Reply to those who said it is weak or did not help them
Reply to those who said it is weak or did not help them:Turmeric may not help everyone. But you need to give it a good try. It may take up to 8 weeks to work.As to being "weak", I don't know if there is a better product out there or not - could be. However, it does contain 95% curcuminoids which is what is recommended and it does have Perine to help absorption.Dosage says 1-3 500mg a day so you may need the three. Take with meals if possible. I take 2 and feel it makes a big difference. I also take 2 Nutrigold "triple Strength" Omega 3 which I know works because I forgot it for 2 weeks once on vacation and nearly went into a "flare" which are totally debilitating to me. I also take some other brand of 5000mg Vit D3. (all doctor recommended). So hard to say which product helps the most or what combination. But the point I mean to make is to be sure you give any supplement a try it for a couple of months and be sure you take the proper dosage. You can cut back later to see if you need all three.I have an anti-inflammatory disease that is controlled by prescription drugs but I still need anti-inflammatory medication that are NOT NSAID. This combination really cuts back on my inflammation and the resulting pain.Tumeric itself (if produced properly) also might be good for the brain cognition and Alzheimer's, IBS, colon, increase liver function and may even inhibit the transformation of cells from normal to tumor. Nothing is proven but there are good studies. And of course always consult with your physician. I had both my Primary Care and my Rheumatologist tell me to take Tumeric for inflammation.

Part of an effective regimen
Part of an effective regimen that has many components for my osteoarthritis of the hip.Preceding my hip inflammation by four or so years, a long standing condition of repetitive injury, specifically groin strain, then the pain/inflammation and weakness began spreading to the adductor muscle (inside thigh muscle), then continuing on to affect my abductor or outside thigh muscle and IT band, which runs from knee to upper side buttocks, into the lower back, this IT band is very long!. So in this cascade of effects, the hip joint was out of alignment and then subject to friction because it was no longer sitting in the proper alignment.Though various chiropractors and massage therapists offered me some relief, with one chiropractor getting me back to about 85%range of motion and no pain. However, for some unknown reason he changed his protocol and it was no longer effective in putting and/or keeping the hip joint in its place. Had someone somewhere along the way, given me hip stabilization exercises, which I found out too late from a sports therapist, I would rarely have had to go back to someone to have this hip joint put back into place, instead keeping the joint aligned with very specific exercises designed to keep it there. So I find myself not only with osteoarthritis, but also still the chronic pain, weakness and inflammation surrounding the whole hip complex. Though prescription strength ibuprophen, and then sometimes flexaril - muscle relaxer - would often give me immediate relief, taking these over a long period of time are actually detrimental to the health of the joint and muscle tissues. Enter natural remedies. I have a long list of what I take, but specifically for pain : Nature's way devils claw extract - 2 capsules - there is just a devils claw they make but not as potent, so look for the extract, NOW's Bowellia extract, 2 capsules Flora's White Willow Bark, 2 capsules Viva Labs or Nutrigold's Turmeric Curcumin Complex, 2 capsules Doctor's Best MSM 2 capsules Metagenics Kaprex 1 capsule Now I know this is a lot in one sitting, but it took finding this, thru my own experimentation, for my level of pain. Averaging 5-8 on the pain scale very often. But I get a handful of brazil nuts or other nuts/seeds, with a glass of water, and take these about 3 or 4 at a time, eat another nut, swallow 3 or 4 more capsules, etc. This is as effective for me as the ibuprophen, inhibits the cox 1 and cox 2 and quelling inflammation and further joint destruction. And over time, approximately 120 days, has steadily, along with my regimen specially addressing my osteoarthritis condition, gotten me to a function and pain level of , over the past two weeks, around 3 to 4, and I've been pushing it due to the Christmas shopping season! This has allowed me to very gradually add exercises back into my routine that I have been able to do for a long time because of pain and muscle weakness. As I'm able to strengthen and stabilize my core and hips, this will then, I'm hoping, continue to improve my condition.

Very Good results!
I purchased this product after doing some research and decided that this was the best 1st try to see how effective this approach might be to deal with joint pain. I have been taking two capsules a day (1 in the morning and one in the evening) for several weeks and have noticed significant improvement in the chronic pains in my hip and lower back. I have also used them to replace the Omega 3 supplement that recently was sited to cause a higher risk of prostate cancer in men over 50. I can't judge it as a general anti-inflammatory replacement for Omega 3's but it most certainly has dramatically reduced and in some cases eliminated much of my chronic pain. I would certainly recommend it, and if it helps with pain I can only assume that it is doing the work of an anti-inflammatory as well in general terms. Also note that you can take up to 3 a day, but I started slowly and have found thus far that 2 a day work very well for me.
