Universal Swimming Pool Heat Pump Cover

Overall seems to be made pretty well, but first one came through with an open seem on one side. When I requested a replacement the manufacturer requested conformation that I received it that way and photos of the defect, that I sent on line. They then sent a replacement and did not require that the defective one to be returned. Will now see how it holds up through a N.Y. winter.UPDATE: 12/4/2018, Well the cover has held up through the winters of 2016, 2017, 2018, and although it is showing its age it is back on for 2019. overall I will get another one when the time comes.

This was taller than I needed but has enough adjustment to it that I could make it work. We have had a lot of wind and it has stayed snug and secure while we wait for the winter snow. I like that it has a soft lining to protect the heater from scratches. Mine has pipes on two sides and that was no problem to work around. There is plenty of give and room to spare. I would think it would fit any heater.

Packaging was great. The bag appears to be reusable with a hook built in to hang it for the off season / swim season. One less tarp / cover piled in my garage.Installation was easy with strings to pull it snug and keep off the ground. As a new heat pump owner I was also happy to have the instructions explain the need for ventilation and clearance from the ground.No issues with strings that others have mentioned in the past.

This thing is not rocket science folks. Yet the minute I placed it loosely over my heater and pulled the middle strap pictured in the photo gently, one end tore off from the cover. At this point, since I need the cover right now and the hassle of returning and replacing it is too time consuming for me, and I was able to fasten the strap makeshift to another strap, I'll use this thing as is. However, people shouldn't have to settle like this.

Had a small hole on top after 2nd year, I sealed it with tape. It is expensive and have found it for $12 less on other sites.So my replacement will come from another site.

Surprisingly small package when delivered. I doubt I will be able to fold it back up as compactly next spring. However it came as pictured, seems to be of very nice construction and was easy to install. A little bit on the pricey side, but I want to make sure I have something that will protect the unit well during winter weather.

Did not fit my pool heater and was returned without incident!
