Good quality and simple to use.
I have a piaggio MP3 500cc trike and got a nail stuck in my brand new tyre. These are NOT the easiest wheels to remove for a tyre repair, which was why I was interest in this kit as it claimed you could repair the tyre without the need to remove the tyre.Skepticaly, I followed the (simple) instructions and it took just 10 MINUTES to repair the hole and re-inflate the tyre. It's now been almost a week and checking my tyre pressure, the rear tyre has not lost any air at all. This repair kit, is a bit more expensive than some kits, BUT it is so easy and quick to use and convenient that i think it was worth every penny. The kit comes with tyre plugs, a cutting knife, a small tool penknife and a tyre reamer, all in a leather pouch (oh and the plug gun of course). The overall quality of the items is quite high and seems durable for the mid to long term. The complete size of the kit is a little bulky than some other kits, but this iz forgivable as It is so EASY to use, so I really do recommend this item.I hope this small review helps you with any decisions on this item.

Impressive and a must for any vehicle emergency kit
Bought to repair a screw hole in my tyre after reading the reviews on hear.On opening I was initially surprised and impressed by the quality of the gun. Sturdy and heavy with a reassuring operation of the ratcheting trigger and reset spring. All tools of the kit are Sturdy apart from maybe the trimming knife. If treated with respect, it feels like it will last well. All in a handy zip pouch. Shame there aren't pliers in the kit.I've read on here how it doesn't work, but I can report like most that it works well and takes minutes to use. I have done a repair with this kit and it lost 1 psi from 41 psi on a EV front tyre over 3 days. This 1 psi differential may have been more to subzero temperatures than loss of air. What ever it was the tpms never came on again until the tyre was changed. BRILLIANT! Better than I could have expected. Easier than changing a wheel.

Excellent addition to you tool kit
Bought this 2yrs ago after I had a puncture from a screw up in the north of Scotland, cost me 4hrs & £75 to get fixed.A slow puncture started a week ago, losing about 3pst per day. Checked the tyre on the car but couldn’t see anything, but after I took the wheel off I found a nail embedded between the treads on the outer edge of the tyre. So thought I would give this a go. Reread the instructions as it had been a while, it’s all pretty straightforward. The most difficult bit was pushing the reamer in initially, that took a lot of effort, but the feel of it the steel belting was putting up a struggle, however eventually got it in and worked it in and out to clear the hole, the rest was a piece of cake. That was a week ago and there has not been anymore air loss since. 2 additions that I have made to the kit is a tyre valve unscrewer and a white wax pencil. The former makes it easy to let the tyre down without damaging the valve and the latter to find the hole again as I found that after I’d removed the nail it was real difficult to find where it had been. Great piece of kit.

Appear to work
Seems to work, not snake oil. Repaired a tyre on car easily only made one mistake and that was to put the "mushroom" plug in the gun wrong way round [ Note head of mushroom goes towards tyre]So tyre was repaired a week ago and still holding. this was a repair on the edge of tread that was "unrepairable" using an internal patch method. Also you will need a pump to re-inflate the tyre. will probably not work on a tyre that has "debeeded" aka come off the rim.

Life saver.
Wow what a fantastic piece of kit. 15 minute job to repair a puncture when I was stuck in London on the motorcycle. Worth every penny & will be staying with the bike.

Motorcycle puncture, this kit got me home.
A year after buying this to carry on the motorcycle, I needed to use it. The instructions were clear. First plug broke up on removing the nozzle, but second attempt worked, although it was leaking air. It got me 30 miles back to base where I removed it with pliers and redid it a third time, this time with no audible leak. The tyre was flat again in the morning, but I pumped it up and started my 300 mile journey home. I stopped after 100 miles and 4psi had been lost. I topped up and continued the remaining 200 miles and 7psi had been lost when I got back. My puncture happened in the middle of Yorkshire Dales with no phone signal, and I'm very happy I had this kit and a pump to get me back. Being the weekend, getting a new motorcycle tyre wasn't possible. The disclaimer with the kit claims it's a temporary fix good for 50mph max speed and 100 miles.

Not good for bicycles
At no point are these suitable for a bicycle. Usually it wouldn’t bother me but I needed replacements for the next day so ordered these, turned up way too big for any bike plug and also I now have to take time out my day returning them. Is a simple and correct description too much to ask?

Easy fix to get you moving
Forgwt the neg reviews. These plugs work. I've done about 6 plugs now over the last couple of years. I have the applicator with the screw handle and have found that you should load the plug into thd applicator and when in the position to place the nozzle in tyre, wind the handle slowly, that way the plug slides through the nozzle easily, also minimise the handling of the plug as it's got a lubricant on it, so don't remove from the sealed packet till the last minute. Take your time and its an easy fix. Small enough to stow in glove box. Better than using your tyre gel kit as garage will only replace tyre after using that but if you plug it garage will if you wish to remove it and fit inside vulcanised patch. But the latest one I have fitted doesn't leak.
