This product is excellent. I cook with sumac and this is is as good as any I have ever found.

Good amount for the price but wanted to avoid plastic packaging badly. It did arrive fast though. Will update on the quality and taste after making shirazi salad.Update: tasty, tangy and fresh flavors to enhance my salads. Again I wish the company updates with more recyclable and earth friendly packaging as glass jar. I might order the comparable product with more eco friendly container in the future when I finish this.

This is REAL SUMAC!! It's fresh and lemony tart. Please, if you've only tasted dull, tasteless sumac brands, do yourself a favor and order this wonderful brand! It has a metal pop/pull off lid like coffee, so it's incredibly fresh. Sprinkle it in salads, on top of hummus, over sliced onions or grilled meat. Imagine if lemon juice was a spice! I would give this ten stars if I could. My only complaint is the plastic lid on mine was broken, probably during transit. I'm going to see if the company will send me a new one to keep my sumac fresh.
