This is a niche case. If you need a case that is going to be close to bomb proof then you have come to the right place. This was not intended to be a full time case as the design will make it very difficult to use on a daily basis. This is a waterproof case designed to go with you on an outdoor adventure where it will surely be exposed to water, snow and other typically phone unfavorable conditions. If waterproof is what you need this case wont let you down.So why do I say it isn't for every day use? There are six tiny little screw that require the (included) little hex wrench. I have already lost one tiny little screw and spent more time than I care to talk about crawling around trying to find it. And that little hex wrench? Make sure not to lose that PARTICULARLY if your phone is inside the case. Sure, you can purchase a tiny little hex wrench but say its sunday night, your battery is running low and you can't find your tiny little hex wrench. Basically you are screwed (no pun intended) because there is no way to charge the phone when it is in this case. And that's why I say it isn't for every day use. Do you really want to have to undo 6 tiny little screws every time you need to charge your phone? I guarantee you will lose a screw at some point and probably sooner rather than later and your nifty little waterproof case is no longer waterproof, no longer life proof unless of course you head to the store and find yourself another teeny tiny little screw that would do the job. I am guessing that wouldn't be all that easy to find.I seriously debated 3 stars for this case just for the poor closure design. Those screw ARE a problem for sure. I wouldn't want this case but I am also not likely to need a case like this -- the simpler waterproof pouches are enough for me if I ever go out on a kayak or head to the beach. I don't do extreme water sports. Perhaps if I did I would see the beauty of this case but I just don't. It strikes me as way too much effort. But I've given it four stars because it DOES achieve its purpose and that's worth something.BOTTOM LINE: Think carefully about who you are before you purchase this one. Keep in mind the tiny, easily lose-able screws and the tiny lose-able hex wrench. Yes your precious iphone will stay quite dry and protected but is the hassle worth it?

Kept the water out, but it's a pain to get on and off and i was never able to get all the air out which makes it hard to tap the sides/borders of the phone screen. Kind of an important part of the screen for typing and sending texts. There are easier waterproof cases out there that don't involve having to put in 6 screws and which allow you charge it and use headphones while the case is on (this one doesn't). Two stars because it works, but it's not convenient

You have no way of using the power button or anything around the phone only the home button

We took this on our cruise and got amazing photos and video in the ocean! Will be using this product again

no access to buttons or ports at all, this is only for underwater picture taking only, not for everyday use.
