V. Good
This is clearly one of the good sellers/products that wants to improve people's lives for a great price.I had had my pair of UE900s for just over around a year, and both of the original cables began to have defects, so I decided to test out this low-priced cord. Not only does it function perfectly with no loss of sound quality, I actually prefer it to the more expensive original cables. This one does not tangle and hangs over my ear flat and comfortably, without the constant re-hanging I had to do with the old cables. There is no difference in cable nose either, which is great. The seller also immediately sent an email encouraging communication if there were any problems and ensuring customer satisfaction.I would buy a second cable from this provider if there were several more color options, different lengths, and inline mic/controller options available.

some nice flat cables to put on my shures SE215s
So, when these arrived. I was fairly excited. They arrived timely and they were as expected: some nice flat cables to put on my shures SE215s. I've been using them for about a week now and overall, I do like these aftermarket cables. Though they look cheap, as other reviewers have said, (purely because of the cable sleeving's texture or something Though I do think the aluminum bits look lovely and spark off a semblance of quality. I would have liked the middle piece to have a texture to it to make it pop more as a piece of metal rather than look a little more like plastic.)My major complaints on this piece, or at least the piece I have specifically is that the connection between the cables to the R and L earpieces wobbles. Specifically, it wobbles in the left ear and "clicks" in the right ear. Inspecting this, it's not causing any damage and isn't causing any noticeable sound degradation, at least to my ears. It does, however, inspire the fact that I would have preferred a snug fit between the connections on the cable and earpiece. The wobble and clicking definitely inspired a scare in me.

Don't get much better than looks
The cable is nice. Material is wonderful and microphonics are low. That's as good as I got for me. When I first took them out of the small bag, I immediately noticed that the metal (plastic?) housing that goes over the rubber shielding is glued properly and can be easily slide off. A small annoyance, but that's just poor quality control. Secondly, the right connector was so loose that it feel out multiple time when I was removing the Shure SE215's from my ear. This was really annoying. Lastly, the cable was ripped and exposed wire was showing after only 5 DAYS OF USE. On the right connector, right as the cable entered the housing, the rubber cable tore open and the red wire inside was shown. That was that strike 3. I'm returning this cable and buying one that looks higher quality. Deeply disappointed.

Great replacement SE215 cable and outstanding customer service
These are seriously my favorite cables for my SE215's. SO much easier to put them on and take them off, and I never have had any connection issues. One day, one of the sides stopped working (almost definitely my fault, I never treated them carefully whatsoever). The seller, Akash Design sent me a replacement one for free with no questions asked!! One of the best customer service experiences I have had on Amazon. I'm excited for them to come in - after two days I'm already sick of using the stock cables.

Not durable at all
Pros:They look nice.Connectors fit perfectly on the earbuds.Cons:They lack the molded ear hook of the original Shure cableRelatively thin wiresNo molded ear hook means there is no support for the thin wires, especially around where the cable connects to the earbud. After just over a month of use, the right earbud cable has developed a break (of course it happens right after the 30 day return window is over). Now I have to wiggle the cable around to make sure that it works, and it's only a matter of time before it stops working altogether. I only use my earbuds at work, so I don't believe that I've been putting unnecessary stress on the cable. I would definitely recommend just spending the extra money and buying the original Shure cable.

Better than some alternatives
I bought this earphone cable because it was much cheaper than the Shure cable for the SE535. So far they are functional, with some crackling when I move the jack in the phone (that may be because of phone issues). The downside is the lack of memory wire for the ears. Because the earpieces are designed so that the cable can wrap around the ears, the loose cables on this do not stay wrapped properly around the ears. With that said, because the Shure cable is so expensive and non-durable, I don't regret buying this despite the discomfort.

Great for people who wear glasses
I've had a pair of Shure SE215 in ear monitors for a little over two years. While I've loved their sound, I could never get the fit quite right with the stock cable. The Shure memory wire had to compete for behind-the-ear real estate with my glasses or sunglasses. After a recent run, I decided I'd had enough, and a quick search on Amazon led me to this cable. I'm very happy to report that the Akash Design is much more comfortable and manageable than the stock cable and the sound is indistinguishable. With the fit adjuster, I'm also able to keep the cable snug enough to reduce microphonics. I'm very happy with this product.

Great Cables! I love the fact that they don't ...
Great Cables! I love the fact that they don't have the molded ear piece plus they are a quarter of the weight of the Kevlar coated Shure cables. I like the wear my Shure 425's just strait down, not over my ear... and these allow me too, my headphones now are completely unnoticeable and this cable sounds just as good as the OEM one. I am going to buy a second pair just in case! Plus I love the aluminum accents.
