I bought this as the only way my 2 kittens can get out my garden is under the garden gate. Unfortunately they still can. The bottom of this gate isn't rigid enough to stop them, or my bigger. adult cats for that matter from crawling out underneath. I have had to put a board across the gate to reinforce it which I could have done for free. Having poles in the bottom as well as the sides would have been a better design and made the gate more rigid. I had to use my own hooks as the ones with it are useless and fell off.

We just rescued a 3 legged Jack Russell. He has no idea he only has 3 legs and runs around like a toddler on Redbull. The downstairs of our house is completely flat as it's designed for wheelchair use. Making it perfect for our latest family addition to run around without much trouble.However our greatest fear was the stairs. It is a fact that a 3 legged jack Russell can hop upstairs but can only Fall down them. Meaning we needed something to block the stairs of.Firstly we tried a pressure fit stairgate but as our home is disabled friendly our stair case is extra wide meaning a pressure fit stair gate was out the question even with extensions.Then we tried a secure fitted stairgate but it was so heavy it ripped the screws straight out my wall even with heavy duty wall plugs.So here I was £60 down with wholes in walls. Almost defeated, When I came across this little beauty.So easy to pop up. Sticky hocks are fantastic. And it's done the job. For the price I cant fault it.Now the 3 legged terror is safe to run about without any worries.Perfect.

Poor product and fiddly to use

Within a couple of hours my dog figured out how to get underneath the gate to get to the other side… 🙇🏻‍♀️ would work better if there was rigid reinforcement at the bottom as well as sides.

I HAVE A 5-MONTH-OLD MINIATURE POODLE THAT I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TRAINING. SHE IS VERY INTELLIGENT AND SO EASY TO TRAIN BUT AS SHE IS STILL A LITTLE NAUGHTY WITH HER TOILET I ONLY WANTED HER TO COME UPSTAIRS WHEN I COULD KEEP A WATCH ON HER. THIS GUARD IS PERFECT, AS SOON AS I ATTACHED IT TO THE TOP OF THE STAIRS IT ONLY TOOK 2 TIMES FOR ME TO SAY "NO" WHEN SHE STOOD ON THE OTHER SIDE AND WANTED TO CROSS OVER. SO GREAT FOR SMALL DOGS THAT ARE WELL-TRAINED BY THEIR OWNERS.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLAR. APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE.THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR RESPOND TO THEIR CUSTOMER.WHEN I BROUGHT THIS GATE THERE WAS NOTHING ON THE PRODUCT PAGE TO SAY THIS DAMAGES WALLS. NOW ITS SAYS IT AFTER IVE COMPLAINED TO THEM AND THEY RESPONDED ONCE SAYING THEY ADMIT THERE SHOULD BE AN ADVISORY ABOUT USING THIS ON PLASTER WALLS.BUT REFUSE TO COMMUNICATE FURTHER ABOUT COMPENSATION.THE GATE IS THE POOREST QUALITY AND MY CHIHAUAHA PUP TEARED THROUGH IT.AMAZON ARE NOT DEALING WITH IT AND KEEP FOBBING ME OFF.IM EXTREMELY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED.NEVER BUY FROM THIS SELLAR!!!!

Do not bother with this product, installed this to stop my 6 month old doodle from going up the stairs.He ripped the gate within 1 day of installation rendering it useless! Totally pointless product and not worth the packaging it came in.Also, it adhesive hooks which will strip paint work from walls and wood so to add insult to injury not only is it useless but it will cause damage.Save yourself the annoyance and steer clear.
