Affordable, sturdy, very functional non-electric soft close bidet toilet seat with easy installation
Our family is not new to the benefits, convenience and hygienic advantages of using a bidet toilet seat in combination with our usual toilet paper routine. What sets the Brondell Bidet Toilet Seat Non-Electric Swash Ecoseat apart from our other $300 Toto electric bidet toilet seat (on our master bathroom toilet) is the ease with which I was able to install this non-electric bidet seat. Not only is the Brondell Bidet toilet seat easy to install with clearly written instructions, requiring few if any tools other than a pair of pliers, but also required no electric socket installed near the base of the toilet (our first electric (heated) Toto Bidet toilet seat also required an electrician because an electric socket was required for that model to work). Of course the Brondell bidet offers no advanced / optional features like heated water or a heated toilet seat, but it looks, feels and operates (ie: soft close lid) otherwise.. perfect for our guest bathroom. The build quality is fine, the white color matches the porcelain base of our Toto toilet perfectly. Other reviews mention that it did not fit their toilet quite right and I have some thoughts and suggestions about that. Assuming they ordered the correct toilet shape option (elongated vs. round shape), our Brondell toilet seat offers a wide range of alignment options to ensure the seat is aligned correctly. The standard installation initially resulted in the Brondell seat sitting too close to the toilet’s water tank, resulting in a toilet seat alignment resembling an underbite when compared to its porcelain base. To correct that mis-fit, the Brondell toilet seat features an adjustable mounting bracket that allows you to perfectly align how the Brondell seat fits, so no misalignment, if you follow the instructions and intuitive mounting options carefully. Once installed with all hose fittings snugged up (not overtightened), the Brondell bidet seat delivers an adjustable stream of ambient temperature water to either the front or rear of your bottom with what ever water pressure you prefer using the intuitive dial pre-installed on the right side of the Brondell seat. The same dial features a gentle tactile click and subtle sound that signals you when the water is completely turned on or off. Water pressure and directional control of the water stream itself is very similar to our much more expensive Toto bidet toilet seat in our master bathroom. All in all, a great solution and well worth its price.

Clean, Simple, and Works Great
This Brondell non-electric bidet seat is exactly what I was looking for. Installation was very easy and only took about 15–20 minutes with clear instructions. It fits my round toilet perfectly and looks clean and modern. The dual nozzle system works really well and provides a refreshing, thorough clean using ambient water no electricity needed. Water pressure is easy to control, and everything feels solid and well-made. I also appreciate how simple the design is with no complicated electronics to worry about. Overall, this is a great upgrade for comfort and hygiene at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an easy-to-use bidet without electrical hookups.

Overall good
Easy to install. Quality fittings. Seat is sturdy and comfortable. Water stream force is adjustable and adequate for the task. On/off switch is dicey in that it is difficult to see or feel when it is off. Go a little too far and the front/back turns on. There is a slight click but with vent fan noise, difficult. Easy to clean. Overall a good buy.

Easy install, great results
This is my first bidet. I was a little nervous about installing and using one, but this product is perfect for me. Easy installation and easy operation make it everything I wanted. I can't compare to other bidets, but I'd buy this one again. I had a small problem and called their customer service. My problem was quickly resolved. Good experience.

Good, but be aware for install...
Be aware that if your order the one that uses cold water only, you lose the 2nd dial, which is designed to let you change the temperature easily (and even while in use)... but losing that also means losing that dial for pressure control when using cold only. This is huge, bc of pressure changes if you flush during a longer stay. Best to buy the one with the option for both hot and cold water even if you only hook up the cold, bc turning down hot when you have no hot effectively turns down the pressure instead. Great benefit! Other than that, it works pretty well and was easy to hook up except... this T adapter didn't mesh well with the toilet tank (and this isn't my first bidet hookup... had been easy and flawless in the past, same brand & model except 1st was dual-temp)... until I tried switching out to a different type and size rubber washer to the tank. Presto, no more cross-threading and no more leaks. Do be aware that the hose to the bidet seat is only a 3/8" diameter, so if you switch to a different T adapter (which I did, to get another shutoff valve at that point), you will need an adapter. This is bc *shutoff* bidet T's (as apposed to simple T's) tend to have a larger hose interface (1/2") bc they are often used to fit diaper sprays instead of bidet seats (bigger hoses). Some shutoff bidet T's now come with a separate 1/2-to-3/8 adaptor that can be used or omitted as needed. These are a great idea and save a lot of disappointment. Wish more things were standardized in plumbing! P.s. If you find your hoses no longer come forward - grasp then with clean toilet paper with bidet on, once. Then check your pressure. We had to turn the pressure way down at the split valve (to avoid injury from the high pressure), which was then perfect ... IF you didn't flush first. Flushing reduces the pressure, so our turn-down became too far down if we flushed first. - too little pressure to activate the hoses to come out. So you have to choose between setting the overall toilet supply pressure to be either ideal for pre-flush, or ideal for post-miduse-"courtesy"-flush. I'm actually planning to try another, more expensive (and electricity-requiring) brand to see if others clean better. Our first Brondell had a very narrow stream, so didn't clean great without a tremendous amount of wiggling and associated water everywhere. This one has a slightly wider spray, but with the sensation water is streaming almost level, front to back (for both rear & female washes- never a good direction for females.

I’ve been using Bidets for a long while. I purchase my Brondell Bidet a year and half ago (Dec 22’) as a back up. My Japanese brand still works fine but the supply line at the joint had issues after many years. Took out the Brondell and replaced it. Here in Singapore we follow the British std so when I receive my Brondell bidet I got myself familiarise with the American system and went hunting for adapters/accessories to our local sanitary suppliers to look for hardware that can incorporate with the American std and when I had to replace my existing bidet to the Brondell yesterday (20 June 24’) I faced no issues. Probably will order another one as back up again. 👍🏼

Este aparato es una maravilla, todos los wc lo deberían traer por defaul, se ahorra mucho en papel higiénico, el papel solo se utiliza para secarse, y para las damas, es extraordinario...... Haaa y trae todo y es muy fácil de instalar.

The product is good, but made for US market. The T pipe is 7/8,7/8,3/8 size and in the UAE you would need a 1/2,1/1,3/8. The manufacturer was contacted however no support was provided as they claimed they do not have adapters. Ended up spending a lot buying adapters from the US.

Make sure the t valves are 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/4 inch as the provided valves didn't fit the 1/2 inch pipes
