Easy to Read: Indoor Digital Thermometer and Humidity Monitor, 2 Free Batteries, Large Digital Display. Simple Temperature & Relative Humidity Meter

Pros- Readability-Large font easy to read Ease of use- Not many functions, does exactly what it is meant to do(temperature and humidity). Celsius and FahrenheitCon- The construction and plastic feels flimsy and light. It does not seem to be easily broken but the materials seem a bit cheap.I purchased this to keep track of a unheated basement in the winter. It was hung on a wall and is not moved. The durability so far is not an issue as it is not moved. It is working perfect for what I need and does a pretty accurate job of the temperature and Humidity.

This small device actually works well. An air conditioner installer using his thousand-dollar device measured my room temperature and found it only one degree off of the temperature shown on this low-cost digital thermometer. Close enough for me. The humidity numbers correspond well with my experience of what various indoor humidity levels feel like but I cannot attest to the level of precision. So far I have used only those two functions. It certainly seems worth the relatively low cost.

It is not a bad unit, but you will need a lot of batteries. I bought two different new Digital Thermometers at the same time. The one which used the AAA battery is still running on the original battery while I've gone through several of the 'button' batteries on this thermometer. Otherwise the unit performs OK. I compared 4 thermometers at one time (two new, two older) all in the same location, all read a bit different for both temperatures and humidity, sometimes seemingly wildly different, but as a %difference probably ok. The button batteries are not inexpensive either so this unit is not being used currently.

The minute it came out of the box, I wished I hadn't bought it. Very cheap little thing, if it tipped over the numbers would disappear, if I picked it up, the numbers would go scrambled. I bought this because it WAS very easy to read the display, but its a really junky item, the kind you'd probably find in Chinatown for a dollar...

I'm very happy with this digital thermometer and humidity meter. I bought this item in order to keep a closer watch on the humidity level in our house. It has wood floors throughout our kitchen and entry room areas. I try to reduce humidity be keeping the rooms from getting too high or too low. With this meter, I can take a quick glance when I walk by it, and I can easily see if there are any adjustments that I need to make to the humidity level. With the help of this device, I don't have to continually look for cracks to develop in the floor. I don't know for sure if it is 100% accurate, but it is close enough for my purposes. Keeping the humidity between 45 - 55% is very easy because the humidity meter lets me stay a head oh the problems instead of reactive when making adjustments in the moisture levels.

This was sadly disappointing. The product page offered very good information and there is the offer to send it back if you don't like it and I really wanted to like it But it is consistently wrong on the temperature front. I have one indoor thermometer which has been accurate for a long time. I purchased this second one for a different room, but when paired with the original it is about 4-6 degrees lower. The humidity feature is very nice, but I guess I will be sending it back.

Very nice and has the ability to track historical low and high, at the same time allows resetting the unit to clear the old stored memory. Other models do not have reset button to clear the past history.I would give it a 5-star, but there is one not so good feature: When fully extended, the unit tends to fall down because the leg will give in to the slight pressure. It is actually more stable if it is placed upside down. This means that the manufacturer should flip the design of its leg upside down, so that it can stand up in a stable manner.

Pros:Very accurate compared to the two others I have in the room, especially considering the price.Large and easy to read.Cons:Battery died in 6 months. It takes a non standard size watch battery which I don't have on hand and would have to special order. Tracking down some tiny battery that's only going to last 6 months anyway just isn't worth the time.I'd recommend a thermometer that takes AA unless you specifically need something this thin.
