Culver 10-Ounce Ceramic Retro Diner Style Heavyweight Restaurant Mug (Single Mug)

There's a lot to be said for a good cup of coffee or tea in a great mug. The mug heavy duty, easy to hold, warms up nicely when filled with a hot beverage. It feels good to hold it both hands on a cool morning. It's very comforting. It is my favorite mug.

I drink coffee at my desk, and prefer a heavy mug that's harder to knock over when I'm reaching for the phone or whatnot. This is the heaviest normal-sized coffee mug I could find. It weighs 1 pound, 2.4 ounces empty. So far, it has stood its ground against my morning clumsiness.The walls of the mug are thick, but they don't seem to insulate as well as a thermos-type of mug. That's OK, I drink my coffee quicker than it can cool down.

This is my favorite mug. It's so heavy and sturdy and reminds me of fun times drinking coffee in old diners when I was younger. Also, everything these days seems like it has to hold 300 ounces and be super sized but it's nice that this mug only holds 10oz. Those were the smaller portions that were common in ye old days and there is something nice about appropriate rations. If you really need more, refill it. 😁

The shape and heat retention.

The mug its sturdy and solid and definitely has a retro feel. I think that 10oz might be a bit larger than a true diner mug but I'm being nit-picky. Cup is made in China which is a bummer considering the price of the mug and that there are plenty of US ceramics makers. Mine had a mark/blemish on the bottom of the mug but that was not worth returning.

I just bought one. I only wish I'd gotten a 12+ ouncer as this is smaller than I'd hoped for.

I have searched for a long time for a cup like this, white, thick and hefty just like the coffee cups my ex husband's Greek grandfather had at his house. I liked it so much that I bought one for a son and a neighbor. It keeps the coffee HOT!

I like it...its a bit smaller then expected but thats ok...its very heavy which is what i was looking for...i use it for tea,coffee...good for cocoa too...its not white...its more like a creamy white...well madeUpdate1 year later...mug has held up really well...it has become my favorite cup :) I think I will order a setUpdate Edit...I was going to buy another one...but it has doubled in price...so no way ...this is robbery...at 40 dollars a cup....too bad its price gauging...22 dollars a year ago and now 44 dollars...ctazy
