Great quality and stylish combination
Great quality item, came sooner than expected and I was impressed with how sturdy it is. I've been looking for an umbrella that can withstand the environment and also be potentially used as a defense mechanism in an emergency. It's also stylish in design and I will probably get another for my son because he likes mine so much

Looks Like A Giant Umbrella Sword
Just received this product. From initial glances, it seems to be as expected. Here's some things I noticed:-This umbrella is big. Like, really big. I know I got the XL size, so I guess you get what you pay for!-The carrying bag it comes with seems of paultry quality compared to the rest. If you invested the money in this umbrella, I suggest getting a quality sling if you plan to carry this around on your back.-The vane on this umbrella is very wide, and seems durable. The material seems quality. However, the umbrella latch (the thing that snaps the umbrella shut when not in use) is stitched directly onto the vane, and I can see the teeniest bit of light in the stitching. I don't know if water leaks out of it now, but if it got snagged, that's probably the first place it would. Be careful latching your umbrella closed, it seems to have the alluring tearability of an annoying neck tag.-The handle has some weight to it. Considering if it's been put together properly, I could see it doing some considerable damage, if your intent is a legal weapon (which mine is). May break some other pieces if you actually have to take a swing.-With the exception of a few pieces (wood and metal), most of the umbrella's parts are made from some plastic type. I don't know how well they will hold up.-Did not come with a rubber tip for the end.I will update my review if anything else happens.

It is useful for the purpose I intended. A walking stick/sturdy umbrella.
The umbrella is sturdy enough to use as a walking stick and will likely last a longtime. Materials and structure are solid, if it were to be used to strike something with it would work but it is an umbrella so I think it would shorten its life expectancy.

Just an umbrella.
Not sure what happened but when I was going through my purchase history I saw $270 charge for umbrella. I thought I was getting two "Selfdefense" umbrellas for $135, but that was $135 each. Broom handle would do the same thing. As far as I can tell it's not much different than a golfing umbrella. The only thing I can see is it has a wooden handle that's maybe a little bit heavy. Now if they made the roof of the umbrella out of kevlar it might be worth $135. Probably wouldn't deflect a bullet but at least it would have kevlar in it. I guess it makes a good walking stick in rainy climates but Very disappointed.

Sturdy, high quality
Feels Sturdy. Opens nicely. Works well as an umbrella. Looks badass when you wear it behind your back with the straps. I am happy I got the taller version.

Excellent!
Extremely well constructed and finished. The customer service is outstanding. I now have two models, the shorter “City Safe” and “XXL”, one of which goes with me everywhere.

First umbrella broke, Manufacture provided replacement
Looking for an umbrella, I want something sturdy and of a quality that will last. After the first use (in the rain), a small (2-3 mm) piece of plastic towards the top broke. It turns out, that is all that holds the umbrella up. It’s now unusable.I like the size, and the handle is excellent. The strap is convenient but putting the cover on is a pain.Update: Manufacturer reached out and offered a replacement. I appreciate them doing the right thing.
