I ordered one for my full size bed, to help preheat the bed on cold nights... It was awesome... The best part is, if you set it on 1 or 2, your bed stays warm all night long, no matter how cold the room gets.. It is a really good warmer.. I even used it in the summer... I turn the AC on, turn the heater up to 2, and snooze away... I used to use a heating pad to help keep me warm at night, but the pad only keeps the body parts that it touches warm, but the heated mattress cover, keeps everything warm.. I strongly recommend it..

Update Nov 8, 2024: I've had this item 11 months and sadly the item has died. It stopped working and the 1 position is flashing, which I read to mean it has a bad connection somewhere. Tried unplugging and replugging the connection box and also the main cord from the wall but neither fixed the issue. To be honest, I greatly appreciate whatever features allow it to sense an issue and stop working so that I don't need to worry about it overheating or being a fire hazard. I have used it every single night (even through the summer on a lower heat setting) for nearly a year. Worth every penny and still very glad I made this purchase. Personally, I am ok with the short-ish lifespan of the product to ensure all its safety features are current, but I am going to try another brand to get a different/better controller for more options like picking how long it stays on and a wider range of heating temp steps. ---------------------------------------- I was really skeptical to get this but I needed a solution because it's been so cold lately and this was on sale. I was so surprised how well it works! Not only does the heating work better than my expectations, I found that even on my tempur pesic mattress I personally cannot feel any wires or discomfort. I've had it a week, so if it stops being comfortable I'll update my review. Though I did give this 5 stars because it's comfortable and works well, there is one major thing I wish were better about the design. I wish the controller had more functions, specifically a timer you could set. There is an auto shut off built in but it's on an 11 hour internal timer - I don't really need to run it for that long.

Would have rated this at zero stars if possible! Got this last spring in anticipation of changing from queen to king sized bed. Had queen sized heated mattress pad by Sunbeam with which we were very happy but couldn't find that brand in king size. Put this on new king bed late September but was disappointed to find device kept turning itself off after only a couple of hours. Tried usual problem solving steps including switching controllers, electrical outlet, etc. Contacted manufacturer listed in paperwork and they sent a new one, which looked the same but was branded as Beautyrest (only difference was color of buttons on controllers. Manufacturer informed us that Degrees of Comfort brand was item produced strictly for and available at Amazon). They instructed us to unplug and disable controllers on original by cutting wires before disposing of them. Replacement arrived and Surprise! Same thing happened... wouldn't stay on more than a couple of hours. Contacted manufacturer again who offered for us to return 2nd item to them to test it, etc. Decided to contact the phone number listed on Amazon for their product and was amazed to connect with "Degrees of Comfort" business which turned out to be a plumbing and heating supply company somewhere in Massachusetts I believe. Lady was helpful in that she revealed their business had been receiving numerous, annoying calls about malfunctioning heated products which of course were not supplied by them! This only reinforced our opinion that this particular product was worthless! She was clearly frustrated that their phone number was erroneously listed on Amazon for this product. We did contact the manufacturer again and requested that they supply correct phone number to Amazon. Discouraged and disgusted, decided we'd had enough so went to retail store on-line and purchased Berkshire brand king heated mattress pad which works exactly as it should. Happy at last but NOT with this particular item : (

I have bought two of these heated mattress pads. One queen and one king. It has been a sleep-saver for me. I am consistently colder than my husband. He sleeps very hot. Prior to this heated mattress pad, we either had a thick duvet for winter that kept me warm, and him overheated, or a light blanket and I was in full pajamas and socks, and adding another blanket on top of my side. Now we can use a lightweight blanket suitable for him, and I can stay warm without bundling up in extra layers. Extra bonus, the cat sleeps on my side during the winter as he also enjoys the extra warmth.

I ordered this electrical product on Amazon.com.au. It turned out to be an American product not suitable for Australian voltage. Really stupid marketing by supplier and Amazon for not checking.

Great product. Only thing I would change is being able to set how long I would have heat on. But all in all a great product

We use it on an inflatable mattress and it keeps the dampness out on chilly nights
