I tried following the video instructions, then I was able to find another video that actually matched MY phone. I removed the old adhesive and cleaned it, but the new back is NOT sticking to my phone. I have tried clamping it and rubber bands and it is still not adhering to the back. I need some GOOD adhesive.UPDATE: I clamped and rubber-banded it overnight again and today when I removed the clamps the whole thing has cracked. In fact a piece came off and stabbed my finger. GRRR.I tried email - no response, and calling but the phone number doesn't even indicate who you are calling and no one is available!

I had reached out to the company via email and got no response and wanted to do that before leaving a negative review.So this is the 2nd one I bought and the first one was great!! Upon getting the 2nd everything seemed ok but after putting it on my phone i noticed the glue on half of the phone wasnt even under the back cover and was overhanging to the side so in other words, half of the back cover is not even connected and i can lift it up, fit a card under the gap and not to mention all the dirt and debris that will just walk its way inside..Wish they could have sent me a replacement but never got a response..I will update my review if anything changes.Thank You

Came well packaged. I like that it has the Samsung logo and basic information on the back like the original backing would. A lot of these battery covers out there are either blank or come with the name of the whoever boot-legged it.If you ordered this, then you probably already know what you are in for as far as removing the old cover. But once you do that, just remove the adhesive and place carefully in the right spot and it seals up.DO NOT BEND GLASS WHILE INSTALLING. OR EVER. It will crack EASILY if you do not handle with gentle care at all times!

I couldn't be happier with this product, and also with the durability of Samsung in general. I've now installed two of these on my Galaxy S8+. I ran over my phone and crushed it, front and back....and found it in the road about an hour later....in 90 degree heat. After it cooled off, I turned it on and IT WORKED. Perfectly. I had insurance on it but they wouldn't replace the back, just the screen. First though, they said I had to replace the back for them to replace the front screen. Ugh. So I ordered this back, watched a YouTube how to video and voila! GREAT. Easy enough. And a perfect match (orchid gray, on point). Then, the guy that replaced my screen caused the new back to crack when he applied too much suction. Again, UGH! He apologized and said he'd replace it. And he did. With obviously a different brand that was totally wrong color wise. It was trying to be orchid gray, but was actually much more mauve/almost brownish. Ugly. And I like clear cases, so I couldn't handle it. Ordered another one of these and bam. Easy again. Phone looks factory brand new!!!

Definatly broke alot more easy than original. This thing broke removing the phones case! That should not happen! If a company cant even make a product that can handle putting a case on and off without it breaking then they should recall every one sold and get out of the buisness. They should have no nuisness selling an inferior product. I will never buy a product from this brand again. Honestly about half as good as original. = NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!

I was extra careful to remove every trace of the old glue. After I was sure it was all gone, I cleaned it with alcohol wipes as instructed. The back went on easily. I wrapped with rubber bands and placed a spacer under the bands to increase the pressure. But after only a couple days the edges started lifting up. The glue did not hold. I wrapped it again the rubber bands but it was no use.

I've bought a few of these for mine and my brothers phone since the back glass usually cracks after replacing the battery or any internal parts on the S8+. Good price and they've always held up fine with a phone case. I've gotten a couple off with heat gun and a razor blade with no cracking at all, so that's always a plus. 80% of the time I get a little cracking and for how cheap these are, it's worth it just to replace it to have a clean looking phone.

Note: I had it professionally installed.I actually had planned to get my entire phone housing replaced: screen, bezel, and back glass. The place that I typically go to installs back glass with zero branding and zero reliability. Therefore, I decided to bring my own this time and it looks great. It's possible they used additional adhesive as they did have to do it once, but other than that, it's smooth, looks nice, camera lens is cleaner than the generic brand.
