Dentist (First Time) Paperback – International Edition, March 1, 2011

A patient had this book with their child on his first appointment. I bought one for each of my grand children. I love the simplicity. No drama.

I bought this book to help prepare my son for his first trip to the dentist. The story is great and covers what to expect. The illustrations are accurate yet not intimidating. The quality of the paper is good and the colors are bright. Highly recommend!

the way it’s written is confusing and hard to follow who’s talking. we just make up our own story to go with the pictures now.

I think this book was useful to read to my daughter before her first dentist visit. She even brought the book with her to her first appointment.

I like everything the photos cover, but the storyline stinks. This would be most helpful for an 18month old going to the dentist for the first time, but for my 4 year old we just talked about the pictures and made up our own story.

This Book was Amazing in the Pictures of what to expect at a Dentist Visit. Being a Parent of an Autistic child it helped so much. Along with watching Kid Dentist visits on YouTube and I pretended to look in my son's mouth with my tweezers (metal feel) He did Great! I plan to buy more books by this Author-

I like this book it teaches children not be scared of going to the dentist and to always brush your teeth.

Such a great book for preparing little ones for the dentist's. We still haven't been to a dentist, but my baby loves this book. Seeing the babies brushing his teeth always encourages him to do so eagerly.

Was hoping for something more reassuring than a book that discussed fillings given that it's about the first trip to the dentist.

Good Book. Yes, it did go in some detail that I don't think it really needed to (like the child getting a cavity filled and the densit using the drill!!) for a book about going to the dentist for the first time, but I just changed the wording around a little and it helped make my daughter more comfortable with her 2nd visit (she refused to open her mouth for the 1st visit - before we bought this book!)

I don't feel that this would really appeal to a 5 year old. My 3 year old was bored after reading this once. Great starter book for kids that are a little younger.
