Cardiff Skate Co. Adult Cruiser Skates

I've had these for about a month and I'm still adjusting to them. I love the way I can slip them on with any shoes I'm wearing; it's quick and easy and I feel very secure. I can skate around on them, but am still working on the proper way of making turns (lifting front of foot slightly) and still have some trouble stopping. My biggest complaint is that I can't seem to be on them for more than 10-15 minutes at a time because I get shin splints from lifting the front of my foot up. I searched high and low but haven't found anyone else having the issue so maybe it's just me. If I could go back, I probably would have just gotten regular roller skates or roller blades, but I'm determined to make the most of my purchase.

I'm a rollerblader and I found that 3rd wheel off to the side very cumbersome. Hard to turn and also it gets caught on doorways. Also, these were just too heavy without an ankle strap. I've seen them sold separately but this is a design flaw to my mind. However, if I were a college student, I'd probably have kept them and bought the strap. They are much easier to carry around and faster to take on and off since you already have your shoes on. They are especially fast to get off compared to lace ups. Five stars for customer service.

My kids love these Cardiff skates. They work best with less bulky tennis shoes. I love that my 6-year-old son is able to snap on his skates without needing to have them laced up. He just snaps these onto his shoes and he's off. The worst part of skating is the prep. Lacing things up and making sure they're tight and comfortable. These skates resolve those issues entirely. My older son says that his are heavy and a bit awkward at first, but my younger son doesn't have any trouble and buzzes around on these things like he's in a roller derby.

It's been years but I loved to roller blade, and when I saw these I figured they would be even better. A couple extra wheels for "security" and balance . . .why not?! I'll update if I ever get to the point of being able to stand up. On the plus side, they were super easy to put on over my shoes and they are a nice heavy duty quality. It may have been the texture of the path I was on because it was very rough pavement and I have yet to find a smooth surface to give it a go, but for now, they sit in my closet. It's too late to return but my son wants to try them out, too, so if I can't use there is always the option to resell. They just aren't as easy as I thought they might be to use.

I give this five starts because they are durable and after some practice they are easy to put on and off. They are pretty heavy but that being said becaus of the three wheels you are pushing off each foot as apposed to lifting them off the ground. Although I did find after a little practice it became easier. The wheels are high quality and you feel almost like you're on ice on smooth surfaces. I liked the breaking feature and found it to be easier that I expected. I tested these out before Christmas as it was an opened product but giving to the family to help walk our dogs as I saw on the dog whisperer show. I took both of my dogs and we did very well. They were on pace w me and respected the wheels.

I recently purchased 2 pairs of these skates for my daughter and I to try. I've been trying to find a new outdoor activity for my daughter since summer is right around the corner and I was super excited when I found these! They are a bit different so it took my daughter a little time to get comfortable using them without her dad by her side. Now that she's had some time to get the hang of it, she loves using them around our neighborhood after school. I have to admit that I wasn't very graceful my first time on the skates either but I'm getting there and definitely feeling the workout from them. Hopefully we can talk my husband into getting a pair so we can all go skating this summer!

Purchased 2 pairs for my kids and a wheel fell off during first use by my 10 YR old son. After back and forth with Cardiff they only offered to send me 2 screws. After further persistence (wheel still wobbly) they offered to send me one “refurbished” skate like they were doing me a favor. I wanted to love these skates but the customer service left me highly disappointed.

customer service is awful for this product, for that alone I would say give it a miss!!!First...advertised sizing is off , I wish I read other reviews but I’m not the only one that says this but I bought a small which should fit up to a size 9, I’m a 7.5/8...it doesn’t fit!!!! The skate bends the front of my foot into an uncomfortable position and you can only wear the skinniest of shoes with it because it won’t take the heel of normal shoes!Second..this is the most heavy, clunky and awkward piece of thing I’ve ever used, the stance you need to have while skating is very unnaturally wide it’s uncomfortable, the side wheels get caught on things and clip on each other too oftenThird...the break is a wheel???Save some money DONT BUY THIS, YOU WILL REGRET IT...I tried to return mine but you have to pay for shipping and you are essentially loosing half your money!!! I’d rather throw it in the garbage!!!!

Not nearly as easy as the videos show. Can't use with every shoe, as I use a shoe with large, soft soles, and when trying to use the skates, the feet slide inside the shoe and I lose balance.Still a great product that I just need to get used to.

Llegaron antes de lo pactado, lo cual se agradece. El modo de uso es muy sencillo y la practicidad de poder usarlos con el calzado que uno desee los hace únicos.Son muy estables y confortables. Al principio se sienten algo pesados, pero se acostumbra rápido. Están muy bien construídos.

まだ暑い頃に届いたので、すぐに海近くの公園で使いました。若い頃はローラースケートとかインラインスケートが得意だったので、すぐに使いこなせると思いましたが、普段使わない筋肉が衰えていて立つのもビクビク。3日目くらいからスイスイと楽しく使える用になりました。海を見ながら楽しく遊んでいます。

Super recomendables para quien quiere aprender a patinar, muy prácticos y de excelente calidad. Le puede quedar a alguien que calce del 23 MX en adelante.

滑走中にホイールが一つ外れ、激しく転倒して膝を強打。後遺症が残りました。絶対に買わない方がいいです。
