I really wanted to love this skimmer. It’s the right size And has a FLAT handle so it doesn’t spin in my arthritic hands plus it holds just the right amount. However the end corners of the spoon are sharp and the screw covers came off after the first run through the dishwasher.

I needed a larger strainer spoon and found the Skimmer Spoon/Strainer Ladle - Stainless Steel Fine Mesh Food Strainer with Comfortable Grip Design available on Amazon.The Spoon was packed with care, inside a plastic bag that was inside a plastic zip seal bag.It arrived ahead of schedule, with other items from my order.I've only used the Slotted Spoon a few times since I got it but it has worked great!It was easy to use with the Comfortable Grip Design and clean up was also easy.Good sturdy stainless steel that I expect to be worthy of it's cost (which was reasonable) in years to come.I forgot to take a pic of it in use but will try to add a pic later.

Although it's light and sturdy, this handle is the worst thing ever. It literally cuts into your hand any way you try to hold it. Not flexible to hold at all. The bottom of the handle is sharp edged. Throwing out and finding a different one. Thumbs down.
