Amazing mandolin, but very dangerous. Buy a cut proof glove!
I love this mandolin. It works well and is easy to use and clean. The blade is extremely sharp.It easily cuts through carrots (which are really hard).You can easily slice off your fingertips with this mandolin. The safety guard that comes with it isn't great, so I don't use it.You must get a cut-proof glove to use this. Cut-proof gloves come in different grades. Grade F is the most cut-resistant (so the safest), but Grade E or D will be ok. When buying, if it doesn't say the grade, don't buy. And by a branded glove from a trusted source.
